I'm actually PUMPED about this new year! Out with the things that shook my year up and in with the ' peace that passes understanding"!! I've been cleaning up clutter so to speak, making simple but extremely positive changes ALREADY and even now am feeling so much calmer, grounded. How about you? What does this New Year bring for you? How about your January??
We've been unseasonably warm this month which leaves me feeling a tad blue because I miss the cold stuff! Others HAVE snow and are enjoying it tremendously! So, this months ATC is 'Winter White OR Winter Blues'!! You make one ATC in any theme as long as it is either ALL blue(s) or ALL white!!
Sign up until the 18th, partners on the 19th and mail off by the 30.
Should be fun and creative!! Enjoy!!
If you are new to the swap here is a brief description:
Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) is a conceptual art project initiated by the Swiss artist M. Vänçi Stirnemann in 1997. He called it a Collaborative Cultural Performance. Artist Trading Cards are 2 1#8260;2 by 3 1#8260;2 inches (64 mm × 89 mm) in size, the same format as modern trading cards (hockey cards or baseball cards). They are self-made unique works or small series, signed and dated on the reverse by the artist/producer, exchanged and collected by the people who participate in the collaborative performance.[1]

Debbie, do you remember when you sent this to me??? I made it my address book. Every time I got a card or swap package I taped, wrote or glued the name and address of the sender in my special book. I used small post it notes to mark the 26 sections in ABC order. Now it is so full!! And the pages are full of names...not in order. Each time I pick it up and turn the pages I remember something special about someone. I have even helped a few ladies who needed an address of a swap partner.
Thank you! I have wanted to show you, but never took the time...until tonight! Hugs across the miles my friend.

Here is my January winter blue ATC from Marilyn - TexasGran, I like it a lot it is quite similar to the one I made for her. She also made me a a sweet heart hanger which is now on my Valentine Tree. She also made me a cup or bowl holder for my hot cup of soup or tea how ingenious I just love it. Marilyn and I have been partners for many swaps over the years and I have enjoyed getting to know her better. Can not wait for our next swap Marilyn.

Debbie I mailed your package Saturday. It should arrive on Tuesday. Please do not be alarmed that someone cut the package along the bottom edge and taped it securely back together...that someone was me. I had forgotten to put something in so I slit the edge. My hands were not being very cooperative and I did not think trying to write the information would work. Enjoy.

Debbie, I received your package today. Thank you so much. I love those butterflies, they are so colorful. Your ATC is snowy! Cute! Thank you for the vintage hankie and the magnetic page markers also. The tea will be enjoyed, for sure. Thank you.
