It's the first day of autumn and we are enjoying some beautiful cool temps, the leaves showing us their glorious fall colors, wrapping up our abundant gardens and starting our soybean and corn harvest. So in honor of all that it must be time for a fall dishcloth swap.
Please make 1 dishcloth in a fun fall shape or pretty autumn colors for your partner. Sign-ups will go until September 30. Mail-out will be October 6th.

Yesterday, my package from Marie arrived! Thank-you Marie for the very pretty dishcloth, new teas I have never tried, and cute star included with your card. I also think I might try that leaf pattern you sent too. I am a beginner, but I think I understand the directions. It will be fun to try anyway. The chocolate bar is awaiting in the freezer as our 94 degree day yesterday melted it. Hubby and I will probably dig into it tonight! Thank-you again for being my swap buddy for this fun exchange. It is always interesting to see what other Farmgirls do when they create a new dishcloth!!

I received the package. Winnie, I am so thankful. Everything is beautiful.
I received a lovely green crocheted washcloth with an orange red border and a little flower attached with a button, a hand embroidered dish towel with a ruffle, three bags of yummy tea, a recipe for Fresh Apple Loaf with a packet of spices, chocolates (which I gave to some people at the bus stope because I shouldn't be eating) and a very nice card. I hope my package is received soon.

I was getting a little concerned if they were going to be delivered. So glad you like them. It is an easy pattern to make. I went to my favorite You Tube crochet guru Mikey at the Crochet Crowd.

I love these cute Apple dishcloths Nancy. With an apple tree just outside my living room window and 2 more in the back yard they are perfect and apple cider is a favorite drink of mine this time of year. Thank you for the great package.

Hi Julie,
I got your package. The dishcloth is sooooo cute. I love chai tea and the magnet is also cute. I already have to hide the spatula from Hubby. He tried to covet it under California community property laws. I took a picture to show everything but the Choclate candy was already in my tummy.
Acorns are an adored icon out here in my area. I volunteered for many years at the local nature reserve and described to many visitors the difference from Engleman oak trees and Live oak trees. The acorn dishcloth gave me a smile. Thank you for such a sweet swap.

Oh girls.... I am so sorry I didn't sign-up.... I have been getting the house in order for a family visit, 5 to be exact! My mother, sis & her hubby and my niece & her fiance'... they all arrive this comming Saturday...
I do enjoy crocheting my simple cloths, infact I finished 4 of them to give as tuck-in gifts. I still have 1 more to make.
But, if you all do a Dec one, please tag me to make sure I know, so I can sign up.
