Nora, I too have loved all the cards! No vacation for me this year. too hot!! for me!! If I go anywhere these days I go in the Fall because of my MS. This heat has been the worst this year!!
I would love to be like Rebecca and have a Grand Monkey!! SOOOO adorable!!!

All the card this month have been inspiring. I truly loved the picture of the monkey. Must be great having a grandmonkey in the family. I only have grandkids, dogs and cats.

More happy mail today! Thanks Marilyn for your "Vacation Time" card. Always love the
mountains, we love the Olympic and Cascade ranges here in Washington. Also loved the
color tags on the pretty orange string and "Dream" cut out paper. A fun envelope to open
that's for sure.
Thanks also to Mary for the darling monkey card (I love the stamps you used too!). What
an adorable little monkey your daughter has. He is so cute and tiny. Cute little stamped
tiger on the swing as well.

Thank you Mary! How Fun! I wanted a monkey so bad! My best friend had a Spider Monkey! She had waist length hair so her mom kept it in a bun and the monkey would sit on her head and hold onto her bun!! We were in 4th grade so we had a blast with that monkey. He was like a baby! Love your card! Those Scratch-n-Sniff stamps are awesome!! I saw them in a magazine before they came out!

3 new August cards in my po box today. Thanks to Marlene for your clever cat card
and to Connie for your cute "cats on the water" postcard (love the animation of all the
cats) and to Rebecca for that very pretty purple flowers close up - my purple hydrangeas
are almost an exact match in color (enjoyed the Thoreau quote too).

Connie thanks for posting pictures of these cards. I also received these today. I laughed at Marlene's cute card. The morning glory reminded me of those that we planted by our front door each year when I was a kid. Mother would tie some strings to the top of the porch for them to run up on. I also got Nora's card...a photo of all the trees and a mountain, her beautiful view from her front door. Thank you ladies.

Thanks Connie and Marilyn. I did put the ribbon and hummingbird picture on the bookmark
but bought the laser cut bookmarks. I only own a cuttlebug, maybe someday a cricut that
makes those fancy cuts.
I've loved hummingbirds for as long as I can remember and always have several feeders
outside...love to watch them but they are not easy to photograph. I've been lucky the few
times I've captured them on film and not ended up with just a "blur". Quick little guys they
are.

Linda, Love your Hummingbird card! and the poem inside! The Bookmark is adorable! Did you make that? I needed one! I watched a baby Hummingbird eating at the feeder yesterday evening while I watered my flower garden. He was so tiny! We have quite a few every year.
