Easter is quickly approaching. The end of March this year will come fast. I thought it would be fun to do an Easter basket swap. For this swap you will make or buy a basket or container and fill it with farm girl treats. Some ideas could be veggie and flower seeds, garden gloves, lotion for those hands that will be digging in the dirt, maybe a few chocolate treats, the possibilities are endless. Sign-ups will go until February 28th. Partners will be posted March 1 and mail out will be March 15th. Giving you plenty of time to put together the perfect Easter basket for your farm girl partner. Let's spread some springtime happiness.

On Saturday I received a lovely package from Mary. I love, love the sock monkey bunny! Way too cute. I didn't even have a chance to eat the chocolate bunny. I put it into a small basket and my son stole it on me. (that's okay, I can share) The fabric quarters are so cute and I love the Irish plate all of the other goodies that you put into my box. Oh, and the salt and pepper shakers melted my heart. Thank you so much.

I got your Easter Package today thank you so much. I have been doing the blanket stitch for years and I still can not make it neat and even. You did a great job even my hubby was impressed! He particularly like the rabbits too just so cute.
I am taking down St. Patty’s Day decorations and starting to decorate for Easter so your package came at just the right time.

Marcy send an awesome Easter package. Peter sent his stamp if approval with all the bunny eggs.
Beautiful Easter basket..each wood strip is painted a pastel, Fun eggs for decorating with, a beautiful Easter greeting wall art, a Russel Stover bunny — er, missing the first day I opened the package and 2/3 bag of jelly beans also gone...hmmm. Two adorable waffle weave Easter towels, A set of cookie cutters, a ceramic purple bunny ( my favorite color) and sweet little rabbits. Some cute little Easter ovals with mini clothes pins on the back....a few things were camera shy.

Today Peter Cottontail left this basket, with all the things I like: tea, chocolate (some in a decorated cardboard egg), a lovely hankie (I have a cold so will be using it soon), dish towels and ribbon. Oh, and a pink bunny that wi be on a shelf in my room. Thank you, Sherry!

OK, everyone, I have marked my calendar for when to post this swap and we will spread the news when time gets closer fo Father's Day. I bet there will be more Farmgirls who have Farmboys that will love getting their first original Farmgirl mail package. Now.......the question is....what are they going to say when WE Farmgirls "lurk" close by and keep asking "is there any chocolate???" LOL!!!!!!
