Almost 5 years ago, I was very active with MJF. Life got in the way for a long time. I think 2018 will be a better year, so I am happy to meet up with old friends and make some new ones. #128522;
This is how the COLOR SWAPS work...
At the beginning of each month I will post the color and sign up will be from the first to the tenth of the month. Partners posted by the 15th and mail out by the 25th. Whatever color it is that month, you send 6 things of that color to your partner. It can be anything as long as it fits that color.
There has been much conversation about my other swap requirement and I really don't want to rehash it here again, but I am asking you kindly, gentle to please only send 6 things..NO tucks, please. I really want this to be a swap everyone can participate in. I know Farmgirls have BIG hearts, but please, no tucks. You can, if you wish add a note or letter to your partner.
So, the color this month is RED or PINK. You have until 1/10 to sign up. Who is feeling colorful? #128522;

Awesome Awesome, Ruthie. Ruthie sent me a Treasure Chest filled with P!NK...... Loving it.
From scarf, to garden gloves, Rooiboos Tea... healthy and yummy., Garden seeds, lip stain, Warm fuzzy socks, a Heart covered plastic bag, Hot cocoa mix, Some cards... and a fun little doggie toy ... It’s a Docie-Poo..... and Pink! My cat is thinking.... is that for Meeeoooww?

I thought up the color swaps after I went to a friends birthday party where some one gave her a bunch of random items that were orange-her favorite color-and we all loved the idea. I figure that sometime over the year we will hit everyone's favorite color. Glad you are enjoying it,Becky.

Hi - late post but I wanted to share what I received from Audra in the swap although no picture. It arrived the same day as grandchildren and the heart rice crispy treat and cupcake bath bomb were gone before I knew it. I also received a big, pink, puffy ball keychain with cute charms which will be perfect for the spare car keys that I never can find plus a cheerful metal pink birdie for my yard, a nice pink scraper for the kitchen and some pretty tapes.
Thanks so much! Enjoyed this project during Ohio's grey winter.

I finally figured out how to transfer pictures with my new camera! Y.! I had to go buy a special usb something-y because they didn't think of putting it with the new camera... oh well... So, here is the fantastic package Jill sent me:

I don't think there is much better than a homemade dishcloth. I just love them.

I just received your package Jill! You are wonderful! And talented! Your crochet heart is beautiful! I will post a picture tomorrow but knows that she spoiled me!!
I have some cookie cutter, paper baking cups, some great tea, a beautiful plastic tote bag and a notepad! And her handmade made dishcloth! It will be part of my Valentine collection!

Marilou, thank you so much for my collection of red/pink things. I've got a head start on Valentines, that's for sure. I've got two little note pads, a package of sticky notes, some lovely felt hearts, some valentines stickers and a ginger citrus sachet. Thanks very much for being my partner! What wonderful red/pink things are going through the mail this month. I love to see everyone's creativity so thanks to you all that have posted pictures that we can all enjoy. The envelope was pretty wiped out when I received it Nora but everything inside came through
just fine. The candy wasn't even broken (and you know the mail really gets "tossed" around
in transit, probably the fat quarter and micro cloth helped pad everything. It was a super
fun package, thanks so much.

Jill, I have a sudden case of amnesia! Your package was ready awhile ago and I *think* I sent it out but I have suddenly a doubt... It was at the same time as my fabulous cleaning spree (2 big bags were donated! :). I remember writing your name and putting a stamp and went the day after to the post office; I had a lot of packages to mail... In any case, I just finished a second envelope that I will send out tomorrow morning (just in case). The worst case scenario? You will receive both of them! Hope you like red/pink! *chuckle*

Nora, thank you so much. I was able to go in to the po box today and received your amazing
package. What fun that was and everything you sent was perfect.
Love the sugar coated cinnamon drops ...yum yum and the farmgirl style metal mug with white
and red marbling color will be perfect for my coffee or tea. The red paisley fat quarter I will
put aside until I get a new sewing machine in the near future. I love the really pretty red
microfiber cloth with strawberries printed on it. Cute little hat lapel pin too with the tiny gold
rose on it.
And of course I can always use pretty red ribbon for crafting and card making so thanks
again so much for everything you sent. You really now how to make a farm girl sister smile

Kelly, thank you so much for my red and pink box!! I love the little box you made and the card. I also love the craft supplies, I have an idea already for them and the oven mitt is just perfect as I am taking a baking class this month. Thank you for everything!
