I love having handcrafted ornaments on my Chriatmas tree and would love a new one from a farmgirl sister. So for this swap you will each create a handcrafted ornament in any medium you choose and send it to your partner. Sign-ups will go through November 5 th. Mail out date will be no later than November 25th. Tucks are optional, but should not be expected.

Marilou, I just got your package yesterday. I love it. The ornaments are lovely and I'll look forward to hanging them. Thank you for the napkins, I'm going to tuck them into my purse for when I have meals on the run. The notepaper will come in handy, I'm always making lists. And thank you for the tea, I'm just going to make a cup. I'm sure it will be delicious!

April, you are very welcome. I know how busy life can get. I have been so busy lately I haven't had time to check in here for a while. I have had to take a break from Swaps. Not enough hours in the day. Wish I didn't have to sleep. Lol...
You ornament is made out of fabric squares and they are attached with straight pins starting in the center on each side of the foam ball, then the lace and ribbon cover the raw edges around the middle. I have made pot holders the same way. Folded fabric squares are stitched on to a square of muslin the size you want the pot holder to be, then backed with a matching fabric and bound with bias tape. I couldn't find a pot holder, but I did find a pillow I made years ago. Worn out, but gives a visual picture.
Love every ones ornaments. Beautiful!

I received your wonderful ornaments a couple of days ago. They are adorable! I love, love, snowmen so your canning jar lid man is awesome and fits right in with our other snowmen! The lid with the cutout is so unique. I have never seen one like that. I love unique and magical! What a neat way to make an ornament. I put that one right up in front too so everyone can enjoy them! Thanks so much swapping with me and I already have ideas floating around my head for using the lids with the snowflakes on them. I was so anxious to put them on the tree I forgot to take a photo. LOL. Thanks again!

Hi Brenda, I had received your ornament a few days ago, I'm late in posting my THANK YOU, I'm so terribly sorry... Life has been terribly busy here and I'm behind the eight ball in many ways. My ornament is beautiful! Thank you, not sure how you created that, but it's nearly quilted, but feels like it was pinned rather than sewn together. It's trimmed with lace and a red ribbon around the perimeter of the ornament! So beautiful, thank you for such a lovely ornament! I also loved the heart you sent, I have that hanging on my desk lampshade. Merry Christmas Wishes being sent your way! ~ April
