My old pin cushion is on its last legs and I would love to replace it with one made by one of my farmgirl sisters, so let's have a pin cushion swap. Let's get super creative and stuff that pincushion with farmgirl hugs and love.

I got my wonderful package from Daizy today and it is such a cute pincushion. The litte bird straight pins are so cute.
The bag is cute and the watermelon purse had clear clothespins in it, two fat quarters in it, flower seeds, just so sweet.
she wasn't able to upload the pin cushion I made for her and I had one other I had made like hers, just different color.
so here is one like it I found the pattern on Pinterest.

Hi Darlene, I have head from Daizy and she said she was mailing your package today. I have asked her to send me the tracking number so I too can follow your package. Hopefully you will have it within a few days.

Glad you like the pin cushion! I love my fancy chicken pin cushion she is sitting on the shelves next to my machine. I have a full size quilt on the machine, so the table is pretty crowded. I don't want her to fall off the table!

I got home from vacation to 3 weeks worth of mail - including lots of farm girl mail. YAY!
Denise - I love love love my pincushion swap box. WOW! All the sewing items. I plan to use ALL of them ta retreat this week - Thurs-Sun. The box included a small mason jar with a pincushion flower on top, vegetable kleenex, candle, mini sewing kit (will definitely be used in the motorhome), thread, tape measure, fold-up Fiscars scissors, sewing clips (great for my projects and quilting), straight pins, patriotic small clothespins (wonderful for our mini aprons!), Micron pen, small table runner, and a quilting charm.

I arrived home late last night from our 2 week vacation to find Sarah's wonderful pinchusion swap package!! check out these fun items she sent.
She made the pincushion from a small terra cotta flower pot that she turned upside down and decorated. It is just adorable and clever too!! Then she added the cute little drawer button holder with some vintage buttons and some small ribbons. Other goodies included a darling mug with some Belgian hot chocolate mix and teas, a notepad, second pincushion , and a fun home decorating pattern package . Everything was wrapped in pretty fabric scraps and bows too!
Thank-you Sarah for being my swap buddy and for all of these wonderful goodies that you sent!!

Life sure has a way of getting in the way of all the important things that need to get done in my day!
Talk about being spoiled Marilyn (TexasGran) your package arrived on one of my real bad days. I received Christmas and my Birthday in the mail all rolled in to one and I sure needed some love that day. Thank you Marilyn for always sending me little handmade surprises and cards in the mail I appreciate them so much. All my pin cushions and all the extra goodies I love and they will be treasured, displayed and lovingly used.
I am so happy we were partners, thank you again for always knowing when I need a little Farmgirl love.
