Hi All!
Beth Jones had a wonderful heart ATC swap last month and it was so much fun! Lately I have seen some gorgeous Easter Egg shaped ATC's on Pinterest and would LOVE to do a swap for Easter!
You will make an egg shaped ATC (Artist Trading Card) no larger than 4 inches wide or long. You may use scrapbook paper, fabric cardstock, old Easter cards, anything like that for the background, Then, decorate to your hearts' content. Artist trading cards are usually 2 1/2" wide and 3 1/2" long and are usually painted but a trend to use buttons, paper cuttings, embellishments of all kinds has opened the ATC's up to a wider medium. Google ATC's or check Pinterest for examples and suggestions.
Please use a cardboard, such as a cereal box cut in the shape of a Egg to start your atc. Then cover the back and the front with pretty paper as suggested above. Only one side needs to be embellished and your name and state will need to be on the back of each Egg. Add a hanger of ribbon or fiber so they can be hung.
*******At the time you sign up, please go ahead and send me your address.***** At the end of the swap you will be sent a list of each farmgirl's address. You will mail out one card to each sister. With the added hangers you may hang them on a branch or around your home!
Sign-up's end March 17th with mail out's no later than April 1st...giving you plenty of time to do your best!

Here is a pattern for you. On an 8 1/2 by 11 you can get six 3 X 4 Egg 'cards'.

I must say sorry to everyone that I didnt do egg shape......I thought it was just an idea, didnt realize we were to do eggs. !!!

Thanks Dianna for letting us know the address we had for Judy was correct.
Judy, appreciate knowing that our ATC's did arrive ok as that is always a worry with the
mail...sometimes things happen and arrival is delayed or doesn't arrive at all. Thanks

Hey ladies!!! So sorry for the confusion about the cards...As Dianna said I had something totally unexpected come up...having to help care for a family member...my cards are on their way...I got one from everyone so far except Jami...I think something may be messed up somehow with my mail...I was told last week by someone that my mail had been returned to them saying that was no longer my address and CJ has sent magazines to me that have not arrived but have had ample time to do so...I am sure Jami's will arrive soon...anyway I want to thank everyone for the beautiful cards...They have truly brightened my past few days...and Marilyn thank you for two of them...I am having trouble uploading pictures but will do so as soon as I can...

I just checked with all my emails I received from everyone concerning addresses and all match the list I sent out. I cut and pasted them onto another paper so I'd have my own MJ address list...JIC.
The only thing I can think of is she had asked me to take over for her concerning the tag swap because something personal came up with her family and she had a lot on her platter at the moment. Maybe she just hasn't had the chance. I can certainly understand when things arise! I didn't think I'd be able to do a couple of swaps I signed for because I got sick unexpectedly. I sent her an email. ok?

Jami,
Thanks so much for the sweet Easter ATC and cute pencils I received. Everyone made
such amazing works of art.
I see that everyone has received my ATC's but have not heard from Judy. She said she
was mailing hers out but now I'm wondering if there was a problem with her address and
I see that nobody else has posted receiving anything from her either. Dianna, maybe you
can clear this up?

I hope she gets a teacher who loves God, his little children and all the critters He made. Then the teacher should want to share the fun of learning with the children. I love to see teachers who have not forgotten their own childhoods...tall people with hearts like and for children.

Marilyn...that is so awesome! When Sara has someone over for the night or weekend we usually end up taking a couple of hours for art of some kind. The girls love it! Would love to see a picture of what your kids did!! So fun!

I must tell y'all something. Our Kindergarten kids made ATCs this morning. They were pretty gaudy. Lots of little bows and Pom poms and stickers, etc. I had cut all of the little stickers off of incoming envelopes as well as pretty stamps and run them through the little sticker maker, as well as some little flowers I made. I made a twig tree, tied on left over tulle, from the tutu I made, and it is pretty cute. Each child made two. When the moms or dads came to get them, the kids were proud to show off their work. Some photos were taken to show off at home. It was busy and fun.

Thank you Jami for the sweet little ATC. It is so cute. Thank you also for the two spring pencils...My almost constant companion. I was so tired when I got home, I posted it wrong and went to sleep. I love every thing.
Connie, thank you for the card and ATC. How ADORABLE! I love the sweet bunnies. I am calling them granny bunny and her grand child. The card that was keeping them safe is pretty too. Thanks.
