OK, I know it seems early, but if the days pass as swiftly as they did this year, Valentine's day will be here before we know it!

***********I will be mailing out the list of the farmgirls that signed up. It will be included in the Valentine that I send out, so be looking for it! Thanks for joining in the fun!!*******************************************************************
You will make 13 heart shaped ATC (Artist Trading Card) no larger than 4 inches wide or long. You may use scrapbook paper, fabric cardstock, old valentines, anything like that for the background, Then, decorate, decorate to your hearts' content. Artist trading cards are usually 2 1/2" wide and 3 1/2" long. Usually they are painted but a trend to use buttons, paper cuttings, embellishments of all kinds has opened the ATC's up to a wider medium. Google ATC's for examples and suggestions.
Please use a cardboard, such as a cereal box cut in the shape of a heart to start your atc. Then cover the back and the front with pretty paper as suggested above. Only one side needs to be embellished and your name and state will need to be on the back of each heart. Add a hanger of ribbon or fiber so they can be hung.
*******At the time you sign up, please go ahead and send me your address.***** At the end of the swap you will be sent a list of each farmgirl's
address. You will mail out one card to fourteen sisters and that will leave one for your self. With the added hangers you may hang them on a branch or around your home for the sweet day of Valentine's!! ( That is my next favorite day next to Christmas!!)
Let's do our best work...Use glue sparingly...and create to your heart's content!!

Ladies, I wanted to tell you that a friend I haven't seen in quite awhile, came by yesterday. My Valentine tree is still right where it was. She oohed and aahhed, making over all of the ATC s and cards. It made me feel good to see her reaction. I told her they were from all across the USA.

I am so sorry Beth to hear this! I will most definitely add he and you to my prayer list! I pray it every morning! Praying for healing and a speedy recovery!

If you girls would like to host an egg shaped ATC swap, please do, I will not be able to do that as my husband has to have surgery on the tenth of March and the fifth of April. I won't have time to devote to it!! Smiles, Beth

Marilyn, I so love how you displayed the cards too!!! Wouldn't it be awesome to have an egg shaped ATC trade for Easter? Then you could keep your limbs up!!!

I just had a wonderful time with this swap! I appreciate and love each Valentine ATC I received! Thanks for Hosting Beth! My family and neighbors who came in and out of my dinning room just loved them and so did my little Grandbaby Lily June! Pops brought the mail in yesterday and Lily June ran up to him with her hands out, but it was only Bills and Junk mail! LOL!! I said," No pretty mail today, later we will get some more!".png?v 76463585)

Thank you so much everyone for your kind comments. I crafted two kind of cards and couldn't decide which one I liked the best so I divided in half :) I also LOVED all my received hearts cards! They are all hanging on a little display. My youngest admire them everyday! He is saying "Love Birthday is the most beautiful" -^-^-
And Dianna, as a matter of fact, I was at the hospital those past two weeks but it was for my father-in-law. Finally, his sickness had the better of him and he died in his sleep last Sunday. At least now he is in peace. And thank you for your concern. xxx
