Posted - Oct 01 2016 : 11:02:00 AM Hi Ladies, Just want you to know I will be back, but at this time my Mom needs me. She was signed on to Hospice Home Health Care yesterday. She needs 24/7 care now. My sisters and brothers are all pitching in together. Also, some of the grandchildren are helping. It's going to be a big job, so we feel very fortunate to have lots of help.
Mom has Congestive Heart Failure and has had for years. Finally it's to a point that there isn't any more Doctors can do for her. It's been a long haul.
There isn't any internet service at her house making it very difficult to keep up with Mary Jane activities right now. Hope everyone has a Happy Fall and Great Holidays. I will be thinking of all of you.
Just wanted to let everyone know we had Mom's funeral yesterday. It was a beautiful sunny day. One of the nicest and most pleasant funerals with only her immediate family.
God was so gracious to us and worked it out for our family members to be with her or call her while she was still able to visit with each of us. It was so nice to be given the time to say Good-bye for now. She no longer is suffering and missing Dad. She sure missed him. He went to be with God 6 years ago. We are happy for her since we know for sure she is in Heaven with Jesus and Dad. What a Great day of rejoicing in Heaven it was for Mom and Dad and all that have gone on before them.

Posted - Oct 31 2016 : 7:13:46 PM Brenda, I'm sorry for your loss. I am praying for you and your family during this time. What a blessing to have siblings who are getting along during this time. That isn't always the case.
When my mom passed away, I felt the love and peace of God more than any other time in my life. As you said, without God, I would have felt so lost as well. He comforted me and calmed my mind and heart.
Thank you for keeping us updated so I know how to pray for you all.

Posted - Oct 17 2016 : 7:23:32 PM Thank You to all of you. Mary Jane Farm Sisters are absolutely the best! Thanks for all the kind words and support. It does my heart good to know all of you care. Just as my sister said. It's like we are all part of a huge tree across the country and the roots and branches reach each of us.
God has been very, very gracious to me and my whole family. We are cleaning out Mom's house and it's wonderful to have a family that refuses to argue about anything that each of us would like to have to remember our parents. Actually, we are quick to give something up if we think another wants the same item. God has done a wonderful job teaching us his ways. We are still learning and hope we can all keep learning and becoming more like Jesus each day.
I find that I'm the one to comfort my friends more than they comfort me. My handling of loosing my mom seems to confuse them. I'm sure most people don't know how to react to me and the rest of my family. It's OK that mom is in heaven with Jesus and dad. We have had almost 6 years to watch mom's health deteriorate. She needed to be with God and YES we will see her and dad again. Without my faith in God, I would be a mess. Now I just smile when I think of how mom doesn't hurt and isn't sick anymore. She will be missed, but it's alright. Besides it's only for a while.
Again Thank You to all of you for your prayers and support. They mean so much to me.

Posted - Oct 09 2016 : 6:26:48 PM Hi Everyone, Mom has been with Hospice for a week and two days. At the beginning she could still use her walker. Now she has all she can do to get up and on the commode by the bed and back into bed. She is failing fast. Feel so sorry for her. I'm hanging in there. Had a chance to come home for a few hours and thought I would update all of you. So glad I can sleep in my own bed for tonight.
