I'm hosting my first swap to celebrate national dairy month. Lets swap a cow item and a hand written recipe that uses a dairy product. The cow item doesn't have to be an actual cow. You can use your farmgirl creativity and sew something with cow fabric, knit or crochet something with a cow embellishment, papercraft some kind of cow, or if you find a cow too cute to pass up you can buy a cow

Mail out by June 25
Since this is my first swap I don't really know how to pick the partners - so, I wrote down everyone's name and put it in container and drew names. Here's what I came up with :

I received my package from GinghamGirl, A beautiful pillow case made with cows all over and 2 matching pot holders
that match as well as the recipe card and picture card that matches the recipe card. As soon as I can I will post the

Hi to all, I absolutely love the pictures of the cows. I am going to try to paint some of them. I love to paint with
oils and acrylics. Though they take time. I get lost in the stories in my mind while painting these pictures.

 I just got my package from Jami today. It is so cute, she sent a picture I want to find a frame for and it is like a painting of Aimee in the photo above. So cute, and she sent a scarf with cow print and a bread pudding recipe, yum and adorable cow buttons.

Wonderful, just like your package. So many great things The cow cards are awesome-- recipe Delicious!! - i enjoyed the cow facts, the cow mask and coloring book-- I have a grand child starting kindergarten this fall, and we will definitely have a "Cow" crafty day. Maybe even get to visit my girlfriends heifer.
Her teenage sister had 2 pictures posted on Facebook: one with her driving -- A BIG smile on her face. And--- One with her holding a big hen at arms length with a look of horror on her face. This is the g-dtr who thought pancakes come frozen in bags-- had no ideas that they came from a batter.
Our kiddos are definitely too far removed from the farm and a farm kitchen. LOL-- but sad too.

The first picture looks like they are in a grocery cart looking over the side.

Darlene!!! I got my package today, thank you so much!!!! I just love everything you made and sent, the apron is a perfect fit, the little coasters are so cute and I have the perfect place for the cute little chalkboard! And it was all wrapped up so cute. Thanks again! I will post photos tomorrow so everyone can see.

I was hoping to have another new calf to show off, but Missy is now 5 days overdue. Here's some more cute cow noses though:

I'm glad you like "Miss Daisy Bell" Judy! She was alot of fun to make.
My goodness all the cow items everyone has been trading around are so fun and cute! I've never heard of cowtail candies either....I will have to look for some.

I love all of these fun cow items that have been shared for this swap!! Thank-you Heather for such a great and fun idea!! We are going to have to make this an annual swap. All of the real cow photos added just the right touch of reality that it is people like you , Heather, that make it possible for us to run to the store for all of the milk products we love to enjoy every day.
