I'm proud to be hosting the card swap for a while. I'm going to continue to call it "Portia's Card Swap" to reflect the spirit of creativity and kindness she brought.
The theme for June will be "Things with Wings." It can be birds, bugs, bees, angels, fairies, even airplanes! As long as it's got wings, it's great. I picked this because June brings lots of winged things (welcome or no) our way, and because I'm sure our dear Portia has her angel wings now.

The big garage sale is finally over, and I can breathe again. Texas advice-- garages sales with an afternoon heat index of 105 proves I'm not the brightest star in the sky. LOL!!!

Marilyn, your card is so pretty! The colors are so unusual and soothing. Well, we certainly had fun with this one. I thought you'd like to see the final tally of how we interpreted the "things with wings" theme:

I am so late, but will mail my cards today. The cards I have received are so cute and creative. Thank you all so much. I have not felt 100%, and they have been my bright spots. I am better now. Most of my cards have an extra piece of cardstock to cover the little bump. Not my idea. Someone's who was thoughtful in an earlier swap.

Thank you everyone that sends these cards. I just love finding envelopes in my mail box from all over the United States and sometimes Canada. It is like everyone is sending a small piece of themselves out to all of us. I know that is how I feel. Just wanted to express my gratitude to everyone and the individuals that manage this process. Great Job.
