It was decided that Portia's May Card swap should go on! She loved these swaps and enjoyed the cards she received and we all loved the cards she sent out to us. Madelena put out to call to continue and we will.

*****************************************************************

Addresses are being mailed out today! Smiles
*****************************************************************
Addresses will be sent out today via regular mail. We have one more address to receive and then they will be mailed out hopefully today. As we send out our cards, maybe send one to Portia's husband if you could. I'm sure he would appreciate the kind thought.
*******************************************************************

Portia had planned this month's theme as "Down on the Farm" since we are MJF Farmgirls!!

So please, those of you that have signed up already, resign on this thread. those who would like to sign up please use this thread.

At the end of the swap, you will send your addresses to me and I will create a master list and send out to each of you.

Sign up will end April 15th
Mail out the week of April 25th

Amy Cloud Chambers has volunteered to host the June Card Swap!, Thanks, Amy!!

Thank you for your example, Portia! May you RIP.

You can never be too kind!

Denise-- I soo love chickens!
Amy- very creative and I enjoyed the 1847 folk song excerpt
Patsy-- the picture of the back porch of your family's home was precious! Thank you for sharing with us
Jody- where do you get these wonderful images. Love the animals fun animals!
Kate- I always look forward to your drawings. I'm so glad you do this for us!
Marlene- the addition of the potato recipe was a great touch. It looks sinfully delicious.

Linda- I always enjoy the simple beauty of your cards. Thank you.
Sarah- the die cut barm and little chickens blew me away! What a lovely peaceful scene.
Marilyn - awesome picture of your world. So peaceful....

Oh, and a package of Forget-me-not seeds have escaped from an envelope?? - thank you.

i know I probably missed a few cards, but I was just mentioning the ones still by my chair. The rest are in my craft area, which is in chaos at the moment. I feel another attempt at organization coming on.

Hi Girls,
I've been living the Glamping lifestyle in the Texas Hill Country the end of Aoril--- oh the Bluebonnets and wild flowers!!! And if you remember the Bluebonnet / Long horn Bull card card I sent out last swap-- well, He Was Still There, and with a friend !!!

We enjoyed a "Luau" and I won a Two Burner Coleman propane stove. WooHoo!! Enjoyed craft classes, a barbecue, and even a trip to the gun range-
I missed my normal trip to Kerrville, where there is a fantastic quilt store called CREATIONS!! Their web site doesn't begin to give the feel of the beautiful old house with each room a new theme. --- child, modern, wool, notions, batiks, sewing machines... OH MY!! I also got to use the Longarm Quilt machine in Bandera for a new bed quilt..

This little Glamping trip consist of 150 fiberglass trailers- mostly Little Oval Eggs-- like Casitas,,Scamps, Etc. Check them out on line! Wonderful Egg Rally.

And yes, we were camping during all those awful rains San Antonio and Houston had ( National News Event). Gratefully, we had a few early morning storms, lots of lightening, but only a modest amount of rain.

Oh, and when I got home--- tons of Farm Girl mail!!! Gotta post the good stuff next!
