Posted - Apr 05 2016 : 12:10:51 PM I just learned from Face Book that Portia was killed in an accident a few days ago. I'm in such shock as I know you all will be.
We were swap partners many times. She prayed for me, taught me so much and was so kind to me!! I loved her! I know I will see her in Heaven someday!
Pray for her precious family.

Posted - Apr 28 2016 : 11:57:22 AM I just now saw about Portia's passing. I have not been keeping up lately since the stroke. My heart just sank when I saw this. I had just put her card in the mail for the april card swap! running quite late with that. Hope it may bring a smile to family knowing how much she enjoyed the swaps. She will be so missed.

Posted - Apr 06 2016 : 12:37:05 PM Connie, thank-you for posting your sweet card from Portia when you were swap buddies as well as the funeral arrangements for the family. This has been such a loss for our community here at MJF. It is healing to hear so many of you post your memories and tributes. She was a beloved Farmgirl here!

Posted - Apr 06 2016 : 11:11:28 AM Portia was a dear farmgirl sister and I knew her through swaps as well. I also could count on her as one of go-to prayer warriors . . . and awesome lady! Sad news, but thankful she is safe in the arms of Jesus!
I had posted on the prayer thread that if anyone wishes to send a card to Don and the family I have the address. Just let me know and I'll email it to you. Because this is a public forum I won't post it here. CJ
