Posted - Apr 28 2016 : 1:20:29 PM Laurie I am sure I got your card. as far as I know I got every ones cards just had not posted on here.
I have to say the card swap was such a blessing with all I had going on. My husband would come in with mail and happy to say you got cards today! usually wouldn't care (ha) but he realized what fun I was having and cheered me up on those not so easy days.

Posted - Apr 15 2016 : 03:38:47 AM Unfortunately sometimes life hands us a big ole pile of lemons. I've posted twice that I was doing my cards. I've put them off. I've had trouble with a DVT(deep vein thrombosis)in my left leg the last 2 months. Painful, hard to get around and downright unpleasant :( After two ultrasounds and an xray I'm on Mediation to dissolve the clot. Last wednesday I started to feel better. I've had to work during all of this...I have no days off for myself because my husband has cancer and is on Chemo. All my vacation/sick time is used for his appointments. Be patient with us...we all have something in our lives now and then. I'll promise a 3rd time LOL. I'll do my best to get them out this week. I love all of you and appreciate the time it takes to run these ultra fun swaps.

Just wondering if any of you received my cards for April. I do know that one farmgirl has gotten hers. I had mailed them out on the 31st of March. I do understand that with what has happened earlier this month it can be overlooked. Just wanted to know who got theirs. I only received only 7 of them. Needed to vent.

My cards are very late this time, for April, the flower cards. I started printing photos of my flowers about three weeks ago, but I only got three good ones before the printer messed up badly. So I had to get a new start. ANYWAY...My cards will go out Saturday morning. They are pretty, if that is any consolation.

... and, as I received those fantastic cards, I have to apologize. I didn't realize I had to send out cards to everyone... I only made one, as I thought it was the same principle as Mail Art. I'm utterly sorry. I should have asked before joining. I will try to be more careful from now on. So sorry again. -_-

There is a black and white longhorn there that I've taken pics of, but he might be a different one. I'm glad you enjoyed our Texas Springtime! Mary
