Beth Jones	Posted - Feb 26 2016 : 12:18:58 PM Just thinking of something that would be fun to do and I wondered if anyone would like to do a Pocket Letter Button Swap....I don't want to put it up if someone else would like to host it. But thought it would be fun. Saw something like this in a magazine. Items needed for the swap: 1--9 pocket card holder (baseball card sheet) Scrapbook paper cut to fit each of the 9 openings, back and front Make each 18 pieces of paper like an ATC. (will be slightly smaller than a traditional ATC.) The back will be beautiful as well as the front. In each of the front 9 pockets, you will include a unique button. Marie had cool information about the History of Buttons, What they are used for, And just some cool sayings about buttons. I found this really Interesting! And then she sent some yummy teas and a great letter! As I said before I was just so Delighted with the Job she did and the buttons were a mix of Vintage and new...but they were all really Special. There are glittery buttons, metal buttons, flowery buttons, and cute tiny green buttons. On the back is a button tree, and I can see how the trunk, branches, and leaves were colored, cut, and glued on each pocket. The cold brewed tea packets will be used soon, the weather is already hot here. I love the stickers too - never can have enough! I took a bunch of pictures but have to transfer them off my phone...so, I will try to post them Later tonight. I wanted to let you know that it did come today and that I think you did a wonderful job on All of it! I'm so Thrilled. Beth and others...thanks so much for your comments and prayers...I am just now starting to feel better. Still not walking though as it makes me start Coughing up a Storm. So I will take one more week off from my 10,000 Steps a day. I miss it like crazy as I have always walked....just not this much for years. Back with Buttons. Buttons - all of them vintage. The letter. I enjoyed this letter immensely. I will find very nice places for all the buttons she sent to me.
