Hi Everyone, I have never done this before but would anyone like to do a swap using match boxes? Decorate however you want. YOu only have to do one and I will send you your partner's name. Sign up by March 10th and send out by March 31st.

Mary Jo, I received your pkg. Thank you for the sweet matchboxes and spatula. I will try one of the teas as soon as I hear the whistle from the kettle I just placed on the burner. I will try to upload a photo soon so everyone can see your handiwork.
It's so fun to log on and check out the photos everyone shares. I must say, I have the best spouse. After his long days at work, running to and fro, he comes in and barely gets settled before I start talking about new photos posted here (even though he plays along and acts interested, I can tell it doesn't really melt his butter but there again, I guess that's what makes him sooo special!).

I received Brenda's wonderful match box yesterday. I don't post pictures - it's similar to the one she made for Marilyn. Thank you Brenda. She sent so many precious tucks and a beautiful hand stamped card and little bag.

Today I got the cute Easter matchbox from Linda. I love it and the tuck ins. She sent a tag with a beautifully cut flower. Thank you Linda, it is all lovely!

Today I had a nice surprise in my mail box. It was a box from Brenda. Here is a photo. Look at this darling little matchbox. Both granddaughters were in the car. You never heard so many ooohs any ahhs. That is the cutest thing ever! I agree, thank you Brenda from me and also from Hadlee.

I will be mailing your pkg tomorrow. So sorry I am late with this. It has been ready to go but I have been afoot since DH's truck decided that 300,000 miles was enough for one clutch! ! ! LOL! I think it deserves a new one after 13 yrs and that many miles. Anyhow, I have a plan to get it to the post office tomorrow for sure. To say the least, we are experts at "making lemonade" over here.

LOL - I found them at my WalMart. They were back in the jewelry-making section of the crafts department. They had several sets. They also have the necklace that you can put them in. I know there are more out there, but not sure where. If I find a site I will let you know.

Linda do you have website for the necklace/charms...would save me from searching. The bell will go in my cabinet with my cheesy plastic snowglobe collection...lol. Both my daughters travel a lot and other family/friends have added to collection. |

Yes, that is what the charms are for. LOL! Just a little souvenir of Texas. I'm so happy you like everything - I knew immediately I wanted a travel theme. Just had to work it out. LOL!

Linda I rec'd my package today...I LOVE EVERYTHING! Thank you so much...the bell survived and I've seen charms like that before I believe you can get a necklace to put them in, a floating necklace I think it's called, anyways im going to find one to put them in. Your summer vacation theme came at the right time after an above average Easter we are expecting 3-6 inches of snow tonight:(

Thanks everyone, the matchbox is really a medium size one that I got at Christmas. My granddaughter wanted mice for Christmas(stuffed ones) so I ordered some ( you had to buy 12). So when I got them I took them all out of the cute little matchboxes and put them in her stocking and I ended up with all these matchboxes and it worked perfect for this swap, not to little not to big. Glad you liked your package Mary.
