Hi Farmgirls,
As you probably already know, adult coloring books are all the rage now and many of us farmgirls are enjoying this relaxing and creative activity. I thought it might be fun to share with each other with a coloring page swap.

HERE'S THE SCOOP:
- you'll color one page to send to your partner
- you'll send your partner one uncolored page for her to color for herself. This can be a copy of the colored one you send, OR an entirely different page.
Note: I suggest mailing pages in a large manila envelope so they remain flat and unfolded. And, "tucks" are optional, not required or to be expected.
Very simple, really!!

You can ask your partner if they have a preference what they like for their pages, OR they can choose for it to be a "surprise".

SIGNUPS are NOW OPEN! Just post here if you'd like to participate

SIGNUPS WILL CLOSE ON FEBRUARY 5th. I'll post partners right away
MAILOUT DEADLINE IS: FEBRUARY 10th. You can have pages colored ahead of time.

Let's share some coloring fun!
CJ

Peggy, I do like the Prismacolor sharpener! It does work well and I'm able to get a nice sharp point and have very little lead breakage (that usually only occurs with the Crayola brand pencils)

Robin and I will have fun shopping and then we can color together. It's nice on her patio in March . . .it's Phoenix and not long after March it'll be geting unbearably hot to be outside.

CJ...I don't know if I'm Ambitious or Overly Stressed!!! LOL
But I am always busy!!! I forgot to tell you that I should have ordered the same
Pencil Sharpener that you did...because my new one doesn't work that well. At least
not any better than what I already had. Oh, well...you win some and you lose some!

You and Robin will have fun finding Coloring Supplies when you go shopping together.
Glad you are saving it to enjoy with her.

Hugs,
Peggy

The metallic pencils are nice, I have some but haven't used them much, but sure will give them a try.

Wow, Peggy! You're ambitious!
I've looked at the metallic pencils but have not purchased. As I've mentioned before, I'm waiting to go to Phoenix and my daughter and I can go shopping together! Less than a month away!

Vanessa...I love working with Metallic Pencils. They have a softer look to them that I like
on occasion. Like I've said before I lean towards bold and bright and sparkly but I do have those rare moments when I love that soft silvery look that metallic pencils give.
Can't wait to see your picture when it is done.

Right now I am working on 3 different pictures. One is a Gray Wolf whose body is full of little
itty-bitty pictures in the fur of the wolf. I find it taxing not relaxing but will finish it
eventually. The second is another Inspirational Word Picture that I am doing for a friend from
Bible Study. Her Word from the Lord this year was "Knock" and the page I am doing for her is "Ask, Seek,
Knock". It is simple but pretty and she will love it. I will frame it for her when I am done.
The Third is a big Framed Piece of Coloring Art I got from Barnes and Noble last month. They sell
them for $9.99 (good price for Black Metal Frame, Glass, and Coloring Picture). They come in only two subject
matters...Floral and an Owl. I bought the Owl for my DIL for her birthday and the floral for me. I am
a third of the way through the floral and I am Loving it. I will go back Monday and get me an Owl
one too. These I am making to Decorate my Foyer once I take down my Valentine Decorations. And yes,
you guessed it...I'm doing them in Glitter Gel Pens. I will post pictures of ALL when I get them
done. I color every night to wind down from my day. Hubby goes off to his Computer and I plug in
an Audible Book and drag out my Colors and just sit at my Dining Room Table and Relax. I love it!

Peggy

Right now, I'm working on the page my partner, Mary, sent to me!

I'm glad y'all like it! I wanted to limit myself to black, browns, grays, and some yellows. It would have looked great with metallic colors, but the pencils I ordered are coming by a slow boat from China, so I just have to wait.
