Well here we go again with a fun swap, The Traveling Craft Box #4.
It has been fun and there was lots of new stuff and old stuff so I will take out some of the old stuff and put new stuff in.
Sign ups will go until October 17
Names list will be posted on October 19
I will send the box out on October 21 when I get paid.
It will be in a large flat rate box, and that runs about $18.00 to mail, so you know how much it will be to send it out when you are ready to mail it.
As before the list will be in the box with the stuff and who ever gets it crosses their name off the list when they get it and send it to the next one on the list.
Please be sure you want to follow through before you join, unfortunately I had to drop one off the list last time because of lack of communication.
When you sign up please email me your name and address separately so I can write it down on the list. The box will go out in the order of sign ups.

Darlene - I'd love to trade a box full of stuff!
The fabric I'm making my new quilt with came from a 75 year old friend, who never looked in her mother's trunk after she died many years ago. When she finally went through the old trunk, (her mom died almost 30 years ago) she found all these fabric squares her mother cut out, but never used. She found lots of other stuff too, but she gave the squares to me. The fabrics look like they came from the 20's through 50's.
I am always excited to trade with other crafters. So let me know.
Hey! Does anybody else want a straight swap? We could do it with a small mailing box.

OK. I was sick for a couple of days, so the box didn't get out till Monday. It should be delivered today or tomorrow. Tracking number is 9505 5132 5741 6067 1921 78.
I already can't wait for the next one to go around. I have to say, I probably got more enjoyment out of this box than the cost of mailing it. Darlene, I for one am so glad you are doing this.
How about we stuff a small mailing box full of stuff in our craft rooms & trade the whole box to somebody? (I think I am getting tired of all the stuff in my craft room that I either started and never completed, or never started - my someday pile-know what I mean?)
I took fabric that I will use in my next quilt. Going to make 2 1/2" squares - I think the pattern is called the farmers wife.

What a dreary, cold, wet day it was until my wonderful mailman brought me the 5th traveling crafts box!!
What a wonderful box, stuffed to capacity with such wonderfulness and amazing ideas. I tore into it immediately. Oh, what a pile of neat stuff!! I had so much fun going through everything and choosing only a few items to keep.
I put some stuff in it and sealed it up and will get it back on the road, off to Stephanie tomorrow.

I was able to get everything in the square box I want to put one more thing in the box, I believe it will squeeze in there. I am working on the list and will have it posted by Monday and probably will mail out then. Just to let you know that it is a large flat rate box and the cost is $18.75 now, rates raised a little. But it will be on its way then.

Oh no I didn't mean now Denise I was talking about the next round after this one.
I haven't got the list ready yet, I have been busy going through crafty things and haven't even started. I will be sending the extra large game box, which by the way is the same cost as the little large flat rate, but what I have to put in which is a whole lot will fit in the shirt shaped box. After the first person gets it they can change to the square large flat rate to fit what they are sending if they want to. I have so much to put in there. YAY! I am enjoying thinning things out. and organizing at the same time. So I will have the list by Monday. I will make my self stop looking.
Anyway I think you all will have a fun time searching through what I am sending, There is plenty for all in there. Whee!

I think it's great that we're talking about the things we should and shouldn't be thinking about for the new box.
It sure clears up my thoughts on what I plan on putting in the next box.

Darlene a chandlery is a room where candle making supplies are kept so any of those supplies would be included. So I am thinking anything that could be used for any type of crafting. Boy, I wish I had started this at the beginning because my craft closet is loaded! Lol

Yes Denise you are right in your thinking. Marie what is chandlery? Small wood shapes are great! and I do agree on kits that have been started or just not wanted to do after you get it. I have several of those I have gotten from Yard Sales and second hand stores, There are so many things to chose from.
