It's time to sign up for August Mail Art 
If this is your first time signing up for Mail Art, please visit the topic Farmgirl Mail Art under the Farmgirl Swap heading to read our guidelines. Then leave a comment on this post if you want to participate and I will contact you.
FOR AUGUST, please leave a comment on this thread stating you'd like to participate. Sign-up is available through August 15th. If your comment appears after you've posted it, that means you're on the roster.
According to my calendar, August is Happiness Happens Month. So let's make that our theme this month. Happiness. Whatever it means to you. And remember, you don't have to follow the theme if it's not right for you.
And I would also like to send out a challenge to all my mail art sisters this month. I want to develop a gallery of our work for others to see its sheer awesomeness, so please take a picture of your mail art when you receive it this month and post it on this thread. If you need help with that, shoot me an email and I can help.
I will send an email with your partner to you on August 16th. Please send your Mail Art before August 31.
A couple of things to keep in mind:
1. Traditionally, Mail Art has been "secret"; part of the fun is receiving a surprise package from a surprise partner. I would encourage you not to tell your partner who you are until a reasonable amount of time has passed for them to receive your art.
2. Please be sure to include enough postage for your Mail Art to reach its destination :)

Thank you so much Sherry for the lovely package! The day it came had been a long day at work, and you certainly brought some happiness my way Each treasure so very thoughtful. The hand stamped ribbon is wonderful, not only pretty, but feels so nice. There was another ribbon wrapping up the package that my daughter already asked for as a book marker. I'm saving the tea for the weekend and the little heart has been perched on my desk - thanks again & have a wonderful day!

my mail art is going out 1st thing Tuesday.......sorry...had some medical tests that threw us in a panic last couple weeks..............running behind and missed Friday's mail. If ya don't have yours yet......it still on way !!!

What fun! I thought it was a bit of a secret, so I used my Mom's VT return address & can't recall if I signed my name, lol - but I did label the envelope Aug farmgirl mail art :-)

Thank you,but we have a long road before enjoyment comes back.BUT I am very glad this was not her end.She still can not move her back legs.And I have to help her pee.But she is eatting better and drinking.Praying her bladder infection goes away for good very soon.quote:

Callene, so sorry to hear of your doxie's back problems. We have been lucky and very careful with our dox. I have Oskar Meyer, a large boy, and two fosters, Ted and Demi. Demi has someone who wants to adopt her, just a matter of driving ten hours.
As you can see, a pocket letter is a group of decorated cards in a 9 pocket sportscard page. I was in a pocket letter swap a few months ago, you can check all the different ones.

Audra Rose we have two things in common.I like Mary Englebreit and have dachshunds too.I have three females.Cassie Marie,Penny Sue and MeeShee Lenn.Cassie is the mom.She is going thru a real hard battle right now.Please send some Doxie mom love and prayers for her.I hope and pray you NEVER have to deal with this as a dachshund mom.But they all have this risk,of back problems.Love and prayers to your frubabies from me and mine.quote:
