Thank You everyone for your compliments. Also, Thank You all for making this a Great Swap!

I get handkerchiefs at an Amish store called the Royal Oak General Store in Homer, Michigan. They always have quite a few different flower patterns and some with farm animals.

Be thinking of more Heart ideas for September.

Marilyn -
I found the same children's handkerchiefs in an Amish shop near Shipshewana, IN, when I was up there in May. There are 3 designs with the red, yellow, or blue borders.

Hopefully I will get a good photo tomorrow and get it posted. Between my husband's Dr. Appts and my unexpected problems, spending special time with grandkids before one left for church camp and the other left with her mom for a trip to her aunt's home in Wisconsin, life has been crazy.

Good Afternoon to all of my wonderful and caring and kind Farmgirl Sisters. I have been out of commission for some time, now. I have been quite ill and have been down and out and in the hospital a couple of times, but, I "think" and really hope that my life has taken a nice turn around. But, I have a couple of apologies to make to two of my two swap partners who took so much time to make me the "heartfelt" items they made and I was not able to reciprocate. I have finally figured out how to put pictures on here so I can send you some of the pictures of the wonderful items I have received. Thank you ladies--Linda Olivera (Quiltee) and Sarah Hall (Mrssarahall) so, so much! They are all so beautiful! The first picture is of the denim cuff bracelet that Linda made for me and the packets of tea and 3 very cute bracelets she sent that she told me that I could keep or give to someone else (how very thoughtful of you, Linda), and then, the cute, cute, kitty card. I love kitties and cats, but, right now, I have my sweet buddy doggy, Bubba (here he is!), and I think he would be rather upset if I added a cat to his space and to my side at night time. Oh, yeah, he is my sleep buddy, too. LOL!! (Shhhh...don't tell Bubba, but I have been looking for a more mature cat to become part of our family--we shall see--ha, ha) Here is a couple of pictures I took of what Linda sent to me. Thank you so much, Linda!! It was all so wonderful!!

I received another heart from Sarah Hall, and I want to thank you, Sarah, also, for the time and effort you put into making my hearts that you sent! WOW!! What a talented lady you are and what beautiful items you sent. I received a heart necklace that Sarah made out of chipboard, scrapbook paper, clock parts, Modge Podge and nail polish! It is absolutely stunning! Then, she also sent me the most delicate and beautiful heart ring (that I now wear on my pinky finger). I apologize, Sarah, for the blurriness of the picture of the ring, but, believe me, I LOVE IT! :) Sarah, you are one very talented lady and I was totally in awe when I opened the package you sent to me. Sarah also sent the cutest little note pad that is in the shape of an owl! I absolutely love owls, I love anything that has to do with paper and I really love the small notepads that we see so much of these days and are so nice to carry along in our wallets or purses. Sarah, Thank you so much for everything! You are so wonderful and a lady with so much talent. Please forgive me for not being as good about getting yours to you from me. I am so thankful for Marilyn (TexasGran) for stepping in and helping me through a very rough time in my life. I am trying to concentrate on taking care of me right now, but that is not something I am usually good at. Marilyn, you are MY Angel and a very dear friend to me. I will always cherish you and your kindness.

Here are the pictures I took of what Sarah sent to me. I don't think I did the best on taking the picture, but it does show pretty well the talent that this lady has. The ring is a little bent, but only because I took it off my finger in a hurry and it hooked on a piece of fabric. I straightened it the best I could at the time, but I wanted to get the picture taken so I could get it put on here. Thank you so, so much, Sarah for the lovely items! :)

P.S. Great big HUGS and many thanks go out to Marilyn (TexasGran) for being my angel in so many, many ways! Thank you for being there and for being a friend to me. I really do appreciate you and the love you have so kindly given to me and the kindness you have shown. Such a wonderful, kind person! thank you, Marilyn!! :)

Brenda, I am sorry you are having to deal with all of this. I do hope your life will return to normal, or as normal as can be when you have an elderly parent who is not well. I went through that. My mother was ill for five years. The best part was that because I had been there for her through it all, I had no regrets when she went with Jesus.I knew she was ready and Even though she was in a coma like state, I played a tape of her favorite old time fiddle music, played by her brother and told her it was ok for her to go because we would be ok. She left about three hours later. I was blessed, in that she and her husband lived in the small town where I was teaching. I gave up my car pool so I could see about her. Sadly her husband became senile and I had two patients. His family refused to acknowledge his problems, until the night he got lost on his way home from his daughter's home over an hour away. I refused to go out and look for him and his daughter was called. Finally---finally after years of ignoring it they had to pay attention, and face reality. It is a difficult job, life etc. But it is a "season" we must go through.Best wishes and blessings to you.

As Hostess of this Swap, I want to apologize sincerely for my being so late with my obligations to my Swap partners. Your packages will go out today. Hopefully, things will be better the next time I host this Swap. Planning on September for the next one.

My Mom as you know isn't well. She also didn't have a will and I have been in charge of getting all the leg work done for that. It is so important that we all have a Trust or at least a Will. What a nightmare if you don't. Nini posted on another Thread about the legal quagmire she is going through. I think is Across the Fence. My heart goes out to her. She is in my prayers.

Well today is bright and sunny and all seems well. Hopefully, it stays that way for awhile
