Good Morning to all of my wonderful and caring and kind Farmgirl Sisters. I have been out of commission for some time, now. I have been quite ill and have been down and out and in the hospital a couple of times, but, I "think" and really hope that my life has taken a nice turn around. But, I have an apology to make, especially to Beth Jones. I received the most beautiful Christmas spool ornament from her way back and I could not even get a thank you sent off to her. I am sorry, Beth. Beth sent a beautiful ornament and she also sent a very cute tube of lipstick, but lo and behold, when the lipstick was opened up, it was really a writing pen. Who would've guessed? I loved it, Beth. Thank you so much for taking the time you did to make this lovely ornament and as much as I would like to continue on in the swap on a monthly basis, I have some health issues that I am still working on and need to concentrate on getting better. I am now going to attempt to put a photo of what Beth sent to me so you all can see the beauty that Beth sent to me. Thank you all so much!! Gayle
P.S. Great big HUGS and many thanks go out to Marilyn (TexasGran) for being my angel in so many,many ways! Thank you for being there and for being a friend to me. TexasGran, I have an ornament ready for you. I figured out how to fix the problem. I took off the clay candy canes and replaced them with a crocheted one. It looks good and it won't break. Hooray for You Tube tutorials! Will get it in the mail Monday or Tuesday. Sorry about the long delay.

Marilyn, Bad news. Was getting ready to mail your ornament and found it broken. Have to start over. Guess I need another idea. I have found Candy Canes quite the challenge. Will get one made this weekend and mailed out soon. Glad it broke here and not after you received it. So sorry.

Yes I did receive your ornament and I love it. I still haven't gotten yours out, please forgive me. I started a new job and it is taking some getting used to. I will be off Tuesday and Wednesday and hope to get yours out then. I will honor it, I promise. Just don't give up on getting yours just yet.
