It's time to sign up for April Mail Art and I'm not foolin' :)

If this is your first time signing up for Mail Art, please visit the topic Farmgirl Mail Art under the Farmgirl Swap heading to read our guidelines. Then leave a comment on this post if you want to participate and I will contact you.

FOR APRIL, please leave a comment on this thread stating you'd like to participate. Sign-up is available through April 15th. If your comment appears after you've posted it, that means you're on the roster.

Erin (notathreatinsight) has chosen birds for our theme this month. I love birds! And remember, you don't have to follow the theme if it's not right for you.

I will send an email with your partner to you on April 16th. Please send your Mail Art before April 30.

A couple of things to keep in mind:
1. Traditionally, Mail Art has been "secret"; part of the fun is receiving a surprise package from a surprise partner. I would encourage you not to tell your partner who you are until a reasonable amount of time has passed for them to receive your art.
2. Please be sure to include enough postage for your Mail Art to reach its destination :)

If you have any questions or concerns, please send me an email. I'm always delighted to help.

Happy Swapping!

That's great Erin, hope you can use it. It was a pay it forward gift made by my good friend, the Bag Hag, from GA, Anita Wallace.

Peggy I did! I'm so sorry, I took a picture and everything, and I must have totally blanked and forgotten to post it! Thank you so much! I use bags like this all the time, so it was a great surprise. :) If you can't tell, it's a bag made from a bird seed bag. The bag is lined with fabric, and there's also a cute little homemade bird card.

Erin, Thank you so much for the birdie necklace you made, and the whole package! I found it waiting for me at the post office after being out of town a few days. I love it all. We are two birds of a feather. I have been trying to use up my old stamps in creative ways, but I do not make necklaces- you do very fine work! Love the other birdie, too- just perfect for brightening up any day. I do a lot of crocheting, and drink all sorts of tea, so the dishcloth and tea packets are most welcome and appreciated also.

Blessings to you on your life's journey.

Thank you Sheena aka Sunkissedpeach for the cute key chain and tea, all wrapped up in that sweet little burlap bag. I love it!

Thank you Alise! I received the most beautiful birds yesterday. the white one is an art form called paper quilling and the other one is a cinnamon air freshener. Aren't they lovely?! Thank you again for the great letter you wrote as well.

Jami, I apologize profusely for not getting your March mail art in the mail until April 2. I did let the thread know that I have been sick with flu for two weeks and didn't get it done prior to March 31 but I hope by now you have received it although might not have had time yet. It was something I just wasn't quite up to getting done while sick but I am now certainly on the comeback trail and I hope you enjoy it when you do receive it. Many hugs,Peggy
( I have reread the guidelines and now realize I should have made other plans on the march mail art. I am new at this and again I apologize for the mix up. Hopefully, this won't occur again. Thanks for your patience with me. )
