I am having so much fun seeing all of the ideas for aprons and clothespin bags on my other two swaps and was thinking of several new swaps. Then I received my new MaryJanesFarm magazine (April/May 2015) and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the directions on page 46 for the Origami Snack Bag. I like new and interesting things to make, and I'm starting a swap for the bag. Besides being used for snacks, I think this bag could also be used as a thread catcher in the sewing room, a button bag, put a cup inside and use as a pencil holder, and many other uses I haven't thought of yet.

I want to thank everyone for completing this swap in record time! It is not even the 15th (mail out date) and we all have our cute little bags. This was a fun swap. I hope you will all join me in another swap soon. I have several ideas milling around in my head!
I do have signups going on now for a Sunbonnet Swap, and there are several links there you can look at for ideas.
Thanks again!

Brenda - Thank you for the wonderful Origami Snack Bag. I love the fabrics you chose. And the little matching bag you made is so cute!! And, of course, your traditional quilt and denim little heart. I love them all! Thank you so much.

Linda I received your package. Thank You so much!! I love it.

The colors are great! My daughter and I use these kind of napkins for craft projects. Didn't have any with chili peppers. Cute bird salt and pepper shakers.

Please forgive me for being late on this one. Been busy with my Mom. She isn't doing well these days. Will have it in the mail this week.

Hugs,
Brenda

Oh, what was I thinking. I received my snack bag from Jenny and forgot to post the picture. Jenny made me the cutest bag with a lovely pattern and great colors. The bag was filled with delicious

chocolate, patterned tape and bag of interesting buttons. Thanks Jenny!

Very cute bag, Rita. And I agree - pattern was a little bit tricky in spots. I thought the bags turned out nicely after conquering the directions.

I received my snack bag from Rita.
She added a lovely button.I love it.
There were several tucks. I really love
the little rooster keychain. I am so spoiled.
I just love learning how to do new things. This
bag was a little tricky because of one of the
directions, but after Rita explained it to me, I
was able to figure it out and felt proud for finishing it.

Thank you, Rita. You're a great swap partner.

God has a bigger plan for me than I have for myself.

Me, too, Brenda. Was a random pairing - I numbered the 4 names 1-4 and asked my BF to chose two numbers to be paired. He did not know any names. LOL!

Partners are:

Pizzarita (Rita) and auntsmelly (Jenny)
quiltee (Linda) and Lavendar rose (Brenda)

Please contact your partner and start working on your bag, if you haven't already started. I made a bag and just need to add the drawstring and buttons/decorations. I thought it was a very easy pattern to follow. If you have questions, you can ask me. I can't wait to see your ideas for these.

I'm in!
My daughter uses her snack bags for her invisalign. She has to brush
her teeth at school and her little bag is so convenient for this purpose.
Great swap idea.

Wonderful bag! I can see it as a cover for a vase of flowers maybe coordinated for a party. Maybe a child's birthday party goody bag. I think the ideas could be endless.....

Count me in for this one.

Hugs,
Brenda

I'll give it a try Linda. I have not read the directions yet but I have time to work at it before I need to send it out. Sounds like fun.
