It's time to sign up for March Mail Art :)
If this is your first time signing up for Mail Art, please visit the topic Farmgirl Mail Art under the Farmgirl Swap heading to read our guidelines. Then leave a comment on this post if you want to participate and I will contact you.
FOR MARCH, please leave a comment on this thread stating you'd like to participate. Sign-up is available through March 15th. If your comment appears after you've posted it, that means you're on the roster.
Mary Jo Scanlan has chosen Jami Bolton (Hunny's Hen) to give us themes for this month. Jami, will you accept? And next month Jami will nominate the next sister. As always, you have the option not to follow any themes
I will send an email with your partner to you on March 16th. Please send your Mail Art before March 31.
A couple of things to keep in mind:
1. Traditionally, Mail Art has been "secret"; part of the fun is receiving a surprise package from a surprise partner. I would encourage you not to tell your partner who you are until a reasonable amount of time has passed for them to receive your art.
2. Please be sure to include enough postage for your Mail Art to reach its destination :)

Here's my mail art from Mary Jo! There were butterfly stickers too, but my daughter took off with them :) Also, Mary Jo, did you know it really was my birthday on April 9th? So your birthday card was absolutely appropriate! Thanks again! :)

She painted flowers on canvas...gorgeous enough !....then placed a metal sculptured Bfly over it..........it's STUNNING ! Thank you soooo very much Peggy. I LOVE IT......it's front and center in our livingroom !!!

Mary Jo, I wanted to let you know I got your mail art a little while ago, and I'm so sorry I haven't mentioned it until now! I loved it so much! I will post a picture soon. I have no room right now on any surfaces to take pictures! My craft room has the best lighting so I usually take pictures in there, but the surfaces are taken over right now with flats (again, the best lighting!), and jewelry making supplies. I will post one soon though! Thank you so much for the awesome butterfly mail art! :)

Received the most adorable Butterfly banner and butterfly sticky notes from Moscow. Idaho! The banner is going in my trailer, Bluebird will look so spring time for Country Living Fair wearing this over the front window. Thank you so much, I really love the mail art exchange. I will be in for April again too.

Hi Everyone, a later post will come with a photo of what Jami, HunnysHen, sent to me for March! A beautiful 'Hearts a Flutter' art piece done with colored straws of all things. Beautiful and amazing.

For those who missed my VERY late posting on the Mail Art I received in FEBRUARY from Becky Messer, I would like to share this with you all on the March swap blog.
Since am still camping... I am unable to share a photo; however, Becky collects old children's books and had one on farm animals. The book is entitled Farm Model Book by Charles E. Graham & Co, Newark, NJ.
Each of the images she sent depicts farm animals that can be colored and the tab on the bottom folded so that they stand up. They even have their own little barn and its just too cute for words.
I have decided that this will make an excellant gift for my Compassion Ministries child who lives in Northern India. She can share it with her school friends, and they can color the farm scene together. Then they can creat a farm typical of the old US farms to enjoy. Both a wonderful learning experience and enjoyable activity for her class! I'm so excited.. I know that she will love it !!
