Happy, happy New Year! It's time to sign up for January Mail Art :)
If this is your first time signing up for Mail Art, please visit the topic Farmgirl Mail Art under the Farmgirl Swap heading to read our guidelines. Then leave a comment on this post if you want to participate and I will contact you.
FOR JANUARY, please leave a comment on this thread stating you'd like to participate. Sign-up is available through January 15th. If your comment appears after you've posted it, that means you're on the roster.
Themes for January will be Beginnings (in honor of the new year), Books (it's National Book Month, or Open (meaning you make whatever you would like without following a theme).
I will send an email with your partner to you on January 16th. Please send your Mail Art before January 31.
A couple of things to keep in mind:
1. Traditionally, Mail Art has been "secret"; part of the fun is receiving a surprise package from a surprise partner. I would encourage you not to tell your partner who you are until a reasonable amount of time has passed for them to receive your art.
2. Please be sure to include enough postage for your Mail Art to reach its destination :)

I never got to thanking our wonderful moderator and artist Kristen for my beautiful book that she made for me December art. I know this is the January one but thought you would all like to see her amazing work. All sides were finished with pockets and notes.

Love your crochet- stitches are beautiful. And the cross stitch book mark is amazingly intricate.
The teas are my favorites, and the stickers and winter pics are a fun touch.
Missing from the pic is a lovely locket with a German scene of Sleeping Beauty. Just refused to photograph well.
Hope the pic comes through okay - won't guarantee it's right side up...

Jami I did receive the mail art from you! Thank you so much I love the bracelet! It's too cute. I also loved the little chicken card! I wanted to post a picture but every time I try to upload one nothing happens :( I'll try again later. Maybe it's just a weird little glitch. I really do love I though, thank you! :)

Thank-you Mary Jo for the nice package - the beautiful tulip stationary foretold a beautiful spring like day we had today - gorgeous photo. And who can resist a good chocolate bar! Your idea for the journal is probably what I will do with it - very nice. I have 5 grandchildren 4 and under with another on the way so I may use it to remind me of the time I spend with them.

I cant say who is receiving my Mail Art this month.......but if you're late in getting it.......it could be me ! I'm sorry I ran a bit behind this month......but will go in the mail tomorrow.........and I soooooo hope it's worth the wait for ya :-)

I just got my mailart from Idaho today! The little book is so cute, and the notebook will be used a lot, because I like to make lists. I also took a picture of the mailing envelope, because of the squiggly decorations around the edge. Thank you Mailart buddy!
