Hi Karen - I see your other two chicken items have been delivered. I hope you like them.
Sobyn Posted - Dec 08 2014 : 11:39:04 AM
Karla, I'm so glad you got the package and are enjoying the items! Please don't worry about any delay, life happens and you just have to take care of the important stuff first! I totally understand! Thank you for the appreciation for my husbands service, it's nice to have everyone's support! Also, I love to crochet and do other handcrafts so having something like a swap to make things for someone is fun, especially things I might not otherwise have tried!

Hi Tara, Love the wonderful chicken family- beautiful folksy ceramic kitchen chicken with a measuring up tail. Chicken number 2 is a cute little white guy who now lives I the bird shelf of my china cabinet, and a mini mini glass blown chicken who now lives on my angel shelf.
This has been such a fun swap.
And Tara loved the pictures you sent . Beautiful stock .
Take care and have a Merry Christmas.

I have been living at the hospital with my daughter the past two weeks, when I came home for a break there was a wonderful box from my swap partner Sabrina. Thank you so much I love the chicken pot holders that are beautifully hand made. You have a real gift with the needle and yarn, I will display them on my Hoosier cabinet, the chick in the egg shell is adorable. I received a delicate hand crochet snowflake which is hanging on my tree, and will for years to come, the little magnet is on the refrigerator, so adorable. Thank you so much for everything, I am not good with hand crafting so when I receive item that very are it is very dear to me because of the time and love put into them.
I am sorry for being late on everything with you I really do better at swaps but as my husband says, "the wheel fell off" and the swap took a back seat in my life, your package should be there this week.
I want to say a special Thank you to you and your husband for your service to our country and the sacfrices you both make. Thank you Hugs Karla

Marilyn, glad you like them. No, your gifts were great! I feel I shorted you! LOL I love the apron! Already wearing it too. The cloth swatch is going on another project. And the scarf is my perfect color! Goes with a headband I made. And the Mile High Tea I have yet to try! Thank you! Looking forward to more swaps!

Betty,
I received your package last night. Wow what great things. I tried to post a pic would not let me. The basket is great, dishcloth perfect, little night light just too cute. An chicken egg timer so needed. Chicken ornament hanging around already. Little chicken tea light holder so sweet. Thank you for being my swap partner. I'm afraid your gifts were not quite as nice. You really did good. Have a good holiday. Thank you again for doing this swap with me.

I received a wonderful box of chicken goodies today. Thank you so much, Karen! You have more chicken items from me headed your way. My first box was way too skimpy. :-)

Diana (GibsonGirl) - thank you SO much for the cute chicken items! I found a spot for the tin, on my shelf next to the other ones, and a perfect spot for the rooster towel - hanging on a towel rack - and I look forward to an opportunity to wear my chicken earrings! Thank you!!

Tara -- your chickens should be there by now or close to it. I've found my mail is slowed down with all the holiday ads showing up in my box each day. Hope you like the chickies.

I am so glad you liked it Shannon. I love the pictures of the kiddos, I thought they might enjoy the stuffed chicken much more than mom. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season.

Adorable!

I didn't know everyone was going to send so much in their boxes. I feel like I shorted Karen with what I sent - one chicken item (a rooster potholder) and some packets of teas. I'll try to send you something else later on, Karen. I'm sorry about that.

Oh Julie! How truly spoiled I am!!! I was so excited to receive your box today!!!

The book and transfers are just lovely! I can see myself memorizing quotes from the book each week! The embroidered towel is super cute! I absolutely LOVE the salt and pepper shaker.... yes folks, the items on the far left - the chicken on the basket - is a salt and pepper shaker!!! The little lantern with the chicken on top is also really sweet! The pitcher too is adorable! I have an old butter churn that it will look great sitting next to. Even the bag has a chicken on it! Now for the stuffed chicken - OH MY WORD!!!!! It is adorable. My youngest two keep fighting over it, lol. I'll include a couple pictures of them as well :)

Thank you so very very much!!!

I am SO happy that you both liked everything. I found that chicken finger puppet first and I just had to get it for you! :) I didn't think of using it as a pen topper, but that is brilliant!

Oh Sarah I am so glad you liked your box. I loved mine. My husband is quite a chicken lover too and as I went through my box we were both excited. I love everything. They wooden ones will go great in my laundry room. My kitchen looks great with my new towels and hotpad. My favorite part is the amazing finger puppet. It is so adorable. My husband immediately thought we could use it as a demo chick to teach our baby chicks how to drink water and eat food. I couldn't believe he would risk such a cute little thing in the chicken coop and politely said no way but it will be a decoration in my house. I was actually thinking of using it as a pen topper for when I write letters so I can see it and enjoy it when I write.

Thank you so so much for a great swap.

Emily, THANK YOU so much for my flock of chickens. I was practically jumping up and down when I saw the stamp you made for me with my farmgirl number!!!! I am so thrilled, what a brilliant and thoughtful idea. The tea pot is just perfect, I actually have a collection of tea pots in my craft studio and it fit in perfectly. Thank you for the stationary and the pens for my stamp too and the card with the glittery rooster was great too. THANKS again!
