Posted - Jan 02 2015 : 09:57:37 AM Thank You Beth...for the words you shared. I was sad to see what should have stayed in Private...put out there for ALL to see. We have all had times when we were disappointed with things sent or not sent...any time you Swap there is a chance of that happening...
Hate to end this Swap on such a Sour Note...because most of us enjoyed it immensely.
Blessings and Hugs, Peggy

Posted - Jan 02 2015 : 04:36:58 AM Oh my goodness! I honestly just cried when I read the post from Anna about me being a disappointing swap partner. I did the best I could with the resources I had. I think your post was very rude and uncalled for.

Posted - Dec 29 2014 : 07:31:39 AM Now that the hustle/bustle of the Holidays is winding down, I reflect on just how magical my days were - to be cherished forever. And not to be taken lightly was the thrill of participating in Peggy's fabulous stuffed stocking swap. While my partner was a bit of a disappointment, I was completely immersed in the spirit of giving and had an absolute grand time assembling my stocking and 'stuffers'. A sincere thank you from my heart to PEGGY for countless hours invested for my enjoyment.

You are so welcome. I was happy to be able to reach out as an "angel" when my help was needed. These swaps are a wonderful way to meet farmgirls from near and far and to get to know someone new. Thanks for being such a wonderful hostess for this Christmas swap.

You are so welcome for your stocking. I enjoyed putting the stocking together for you and stuffing it. I love "playing" with fabric and making things that are useful. It was not much, but I hoped the "Red Tractor" fabric would give you a smile. I am happy that you liked what I chose for you. I also love making the denim stockings.
Merry Christmas to everyone.

Posted - Dec 23 2014 : 07:35:27 AM A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU TO MY CHRISTMAS STOCKING ANGELS...who helped make this SWAP "JOYFUL' for those who had ended up with less than committed partners. And you made my job as the Hostess so much less frustrated by volunteering to Bless more than one person in this Swap. Thanks for your MJF Angel Wings.
Love, Hugs and Appreciation to each of YOU, Peggy

Posted - Dec 23 2014 : 05:22:33 AM Linda, I cannot tell you how delighted and excited I was today opening your stocking! Oh my, what a surprise! My original partner did not come through and several sweet and caring Farmgirls reached out to me. Since I had already received two fantastic other swaps, which also included adorable stockings, I declined their offers. But Linda, Quiltee, insisted and would not take no for an answer. VOILA! Check out this stocking Linda made for me and filled it with so many handcrafted goodies.
She made this cowgirl boot from jeans and trimmed it with International Harvester fabric(makers of RED TRACTORS). Inside the boot was a bowl cozy for the microwave from international fabric, an adorable kitty tea cozy, a crocheted dishcloth, soap, candle, and cute pair of chicken salt/pepper shakers. My daughter is home for Christmas and together we each opened one package at a time and enjoyed the special Farmgirl moment
Thank-you Linda for insisting on sending me a stocking! Farmgirls never cease to amaze me at their creativity! So, thank-you Linda and thanks to the other sweet and caring Farmgirls who reached out to me as well.
I hope all of you and your families have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Blessed New Year!

Posted - Dec 22 2014 : 5:08:08 PM Ann Marie I can not tell you how very surprised I was to have received a box today. It is SO SUPER special, I absolutely love it all. I want to thank you first for the beautiful card and hand written letter. They mean quite a lot to me. Now on to my package. The stocking is BEAUTIFUL! I love the chocolate and wouldn't you know my kids quickly said that could be theirs. The candy cane is so huge and pretty. The stickers you picked are so my style and I will use them so proudly. The baking spatula will come in so handy. The card stock and adhesive tools are wonderful, I will get so much use out of them. The hand towel is just beautiful. My most precious pixie elves are my favorites. You really created a lovely gift for me, I thank you so very much. .

Posted - Dec 18 2014 : 07:15:29 AM Kelly, Oh shucks! Thank you! I think I am a little embarrassed now quite honestly! I'm truly glad I was able to do it for you - and really is just something small!!! The stocking is only sorta homemade - I certainly did not knit it!!! I used a sweater :) As for the chocolate - I knew you enjoyed dark chocolate and I happen to love mint and any type of chocolate together, so when I saw that, I just could not resist! Tell the girls maybe they can share one piece together, but the rest is yours ;) I'm not sure if I explained the book in my card or not, but we like to look at how different countries celebrate Christmas, so it is a great book on explaining both why poinsettias are popular around this time of the year, plus on the country :) Win win for us homeschoolers :D Merry Christmas :)
