Well let's get started...
Now this ribbon doll will be strictly Autumn, not Halloween. More is coming in that department! BOO!
Think of all the lovely fall colors and start visiting the stores if you can...they already have out the fall items...We're still sweating here in Alabama but it is so pretty to look at!
A ribbon doll is a lovely lady in the fall shades, cut from paper or cards, sort of like a paperdoll. It is stiff not flimsy, at the bottom all sorts of ribbons, fibers, tinsels hang beautifully about 12 inches long are there abouts. It also includes a hanger. The paperdoll part can be embellished and prettied up. You can look on previous ribbon doll threads here at MJF and find some we have already done. Have fun and join in!!

Brenda, I got my beautiful ribbon doll yesterday and promptly hung her in the dining room for all to see!You did a wonderful job. Also, I love the little stuffed heart (your trademark!!.The appliqued Thanksgiving picture just makes it!!!!! I put it right on my dining room table as part of my centerpiece. I am now the proud owner of 3 of your heart masterpieces. Thank you so much.

P.S. I saw the cutest denim Christmas trees with red buttons down the front with red polka dotted ribbon as a hanger today online. I thought of you. But, you may have made some already.

Hi Darlene :-) Yes, Margo did a wonderful job on my Queen of Autumn. I named her that as she looks so regal. You should see her in person, the colors on her fiber belt are like peacock coloring. She's beautiful...

Sharon, I love her just the way she is!! I don't think there is any right or wrong length, and you can always trim if it is too long. I feel like mine get too long and cant make up my mind to cut or not cut!! LOL!! I like how unique every one is!!
