Posted - Jun 18 2014 : 09:46:20 AM It's time to sign up for July Mail Art :)
If this is your first time signing up for Mail Art, please visit the topic Farmgirl Mail Art under the Farmgirl Swap heading to read our guidelines. Then leave a comment on this post if you want to participate and I will contact you.
If you signed up for June Mail Art and wish to continue on with July, DO NOTHING. Just relax and start creating, I've got ya covered, although I will send you a little note to confirm.
If you signed up for June Mail Art and DO NOT WISH TO CONTINUE on with July, please send me an email.
Themes for July will be America and/or red/white/blue and/or Open. (Open just means you create anything you wish, not following the themes).
I will post partners by Monday July 7. Please send your Mail Art before July 31.
A couple of things to keep in mind: 1. Traditionally, Mail Art has been "secret"; part of the fun is receiving a surprise package from a surprise partner. I would encourage you not to tell your partner who you are until a reasonable amount of time has passed for them to receive your art. 2. Please be sure to include enough postage for your Mail Art to reach its destination :)
If you have any questions or concerns, please send me an email. I'm always delighted to help.
Happy Swapping
Kristine Farmgirl Sister #4314

The hand painted waterproof fabric case will be great for makeup or take-along crafts when we travel. And I just LOVE teas. The Bigelow green tea flavor assortment is much appreciated. And the intriguing muslin bendable doll is a blank slate for creativity. Just whom she will be is still an intreging mystery. I'm thinking little red riding hood, hmmm. Thank you so much!! Mary

Mary - you are very welcome. I hope it is ok with you to post a pic of the bag so folks can see it. Here is the item that I sent Mary...hand painted canvas.

Posted - Aug 17 2014 : 12:35:38 PM Are you a teacher, Margo? What age? I guess you'll be going back soon. Kids here in WV are going back Thursday. I'm glad you will have a reminder that there is life outside the classroom . . . at the farm wherever it may be. quote: Originally posted by MargoR

Posted - Aug 16 2014 : 04:22:46 AM Thanks, Kristine. I truly wasn't asking or complaining. I have learned that when sisters don't follow through there are usually valid reasons and few excuses. I just wanted those two to know I am concerned about whatever is going on in their lives.
Blessings,

Posted - Aug 15 2014 : 5:33:39 PM It's okay to complain and feel disappointed when someone doesn't follow through. You and a couple other sisters will be receiving special little packages from me soon

Posted - Aug 15 2014 : 5:28:35 PM Not complaining, I just want someone to know that I did not receive July Mail Art in case you sent to me. I wouldn't want anyone to think me ungrateful. I also never heard from the person I mailed to. I hope all is well with her. I know things certainly happen way beyond our control. So I'm sending up a little prayer. Looking forward to the August swap.
Blessings,
