05/20/14: Total Swappers signed up = 27.
- Each one of you will be sending 26 cards (remember you are one of the 27 signed up)
- One of our swappers lives in British Columbia, Canada, so you will need to purchase postage to send a card to her in BC.
POSTAGE COST = $1.15.
Our total count is less than in the past . . but we're still gonna have fun with this!!!!

Hi there Farmgirl Sisters,
It's time to signup for our POSTCARD SWAP. This will be our 5th year! Can you believe it! I know many of you have enjoyed this swap. It's easy and simple. So, here's the scoop:
- Send ONE postcard that either represents your STATE or a FAVORITE VACATION SPOT, to EACH person who signs up.
- I will compile a list of names and mailing addresses and email it to you, so......
- SIGN UPS ARE OPEN NOW, will close on MAY 20th Please post HERE that you want to sign up AND . . .
- EMAIL ME (do NOT post your info here) with:
-Mailing address
-Your "real" name
-Your forum name
-Current and active EMAIL address
DON'T FORGET I NEED YOUR INFO!!!!
You can purchase postcards at gift shops, restaurants, retail stores, gas stations, visitor centers, etc. You can also take a favorite photo of your own and have them name into wonderful postcards. I have done this using the website, postcards.com. They are very well done, great quality and not expensive.
I suggest that you sign up right away, and then start purchasing stamps for postcards (34 cents) and return address labels. I also suggest you start purchasing your postcards or get an order going for any that you might have made.
MAIL OUT DEADLINE: AUGUST 20th. Yes, you have all summer to get them ready and mailed. But, trust me, you don't want to wait until the last minute.
SPECIAL NOTE : Typically there have been approximately 35-40 farmgirls sign up for this swap. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE carefully consider being able to follow through on this swap.

Got a beautiful card from Joey. Thank You for the Gorgeous Florida beach at sunset. My collection for this year is now complete.

Hi, Joey! Today your postcard arrived all the way from Dunedin, FL. When we visited relatives in Tampa a few years ago we took a day trip to the Gulf! It was a lot of fun, and unlike anything I had seen before! Thanks for the reminder! (depression is no fun..I hope new meds help and Hope you're feeling better)

1.Sherry, love the flower!

2. Nini love the cows, I grew up on a farm he had cows, one of them liked grapefruit rind
3. Florida love the dolphins, we lived in Clearwater on US 19. Loved watching the dolphins.

Last postcard done. My hubby should go to the post office this afternoon.
Thanks for missing me. I have been STRUGGLING with depression and it has shut me down with everyone except my dear hubby who is used to this, I guess. We're changing my meds and I hope to be better soon. Hugs to all, Joey
