Posted - Jan 30 2015 : 7:04:35 PM Yes, I did make the stocking. My favorite colours for winter are blue, white and silver. They remind me of peace, snow and silence. I am so glad you enjoyed the gifts. Sorry I didn't send chocolate. DH ate it.

Posted - Jan 30 2015 : 4:21:40 PM Marie, Just wanted to Thank You for the Great Winter Box of goodies. The build you own eraser snowman made me smile. I love it and the snowman ornament. Cute little tablet. Love handkerchiefs!!! Beautiful colors in the socks. The tags are awesome!! Will put them to good use for next Christmas. Right now they are hanging on the display for my ornament swaps in my dining room. The teas are wonderful for this time of year to keep warm. Can't wait to use the Rose Milk Soap. It smells yummy! Did you crochet the Stocking. It's really nice. The colors are so nice. They look like winter and not just Christmas. My mind is turning it's gears to decide what to make with the lovely fabrics. Thank You so much for everything and being my Swap Partner for this Swap. I really enjoyed it.

Posted - Dec 15 2014 : 08:12:55 AM After much thought, I have decided to just keep things as they are with the Sweet Seasons swap. Some folks already include handmade/homemade items any way and I do not want to limit folks on their freedoms of what all goodies to include.
Look for a new thread soon to sign up for the 2015 Sweet Seasons Swap!

Posted - Dec 11 2014 : 10:09:42 AM I like this idea. The only problem I would have with it is finding the time to make what I want to send. I am currently working on better time management for myself so it might work.

Posted - Dec 11 2014 : 08:06:36 AM Hey gals,
This is for any of you that want to participate in the Sweet Seasons swap again for 2015. I am about to post a new thread for that but first I wanted to toss out an idea I had...
What if next year we change things up a little and make this into a Maker's Season Swap? It would work the same way, where we'd each have a partner that we send something to at the start of each new season, but the only difference would be that what we send would be something we make out of materials we ALREADY have on hand.
Not only would we be blessing our swap sister with a lovely homemade item, but we would be thinning through our craft stashes at home. If you are like me, those tend to build up in no time!
As for what you could make...that would be totally up to you! It could be a yummy treat, an original poem, or any lovely item you feel inspired to make! Just please keep the item in line with the season and please use only materials you already have in your stash!
Again, we do not have to do it this way, it is just an idea I had. Please share your thoughts here so we can make plans for how the swap will go in the new year. My goal is to make the new post as soon as possible so we can collect names of sisters who want to play with us and then I can post a partners list in January!

Posted - Nov 14 2014 : 08:24:35 AM Linda you are a very special farm girl that I have been proud to know for a number of years through MJF. I totally understand health issues get in our way. I have learned to be very patient and kind with others due to my own limitations.
Love to you, Marsha

Posted - Oct 14 2014 : 4:39:42 PM I received my Fall box from Brenda a few days ago.

The taxi birdhouse will be put out in the spring. I now have 3 fabric hearts made by Brenda. The zipper pouch already has crochet hooks in it. The little pail is holding some cherry tomatoes. The note cards, pen, candle and napkins are always useful to me. I like everything.
Your package will go out tomorrow.

Posted - Oct 14 2014 : 2:13:45 PM Hello all!
I want to send a belated THANK YOU to Christa for the lovely SUMMER SEASON package she sent to me shown here:
My favorite from this box off goodies was the travel coffee mug as mine just broke! Everything was so nice, though, thank you.
I also just got the lovely AUTUMN SEASON package shown here:

I had been feeling lonely and bummed and this package came at the perfect time and brightened my day! My favorite thing from this gift set were the fall harvest decor items as I LOVE seasons and Autumn is my favorite! I even named my daughter Autumn! My boys loved the candy you sent and the painted "candy corn" jars were so cute!
Your Autumn box will be sent out this week so keep an eye open for it!
Love, Rachell

Posted - Jul 26 2014 : 06:46:23 AM Marsha, Please no worries!! I just came on here to thank you for your patience with my health issues right now!
Gosh, I hope you feel better soon as well! I'm not allowed out or sitting more than 5 minutes at a time right now so I understand completely how medical issues set us back badly :(
I'm hoping as well to get yours out this week . But truly no worries whatsoever!!!
We are doing the best we are able.
