Daizy,
So glad you enjoyed everything in your package! I saw that ornament and something just said "that looks like something Daizy might like!" so home it went! I'll look for you in your little trailer as you chug on through Wisconsin! :)

So enjoyed getting to know you and Vickie-you guys were the best swap partners a farm girl could ask for! :)

Hi Daizy,
I'm so glad you loved the card. It was great fun to make it. Yes, I gave much thought to using my buttons but my final thought was why do I have them if I cannot use and share them. He has given me 3 jars of buttons over the years. My cards to you and Christine were my first effort of sharing them. It was a good feeling when the cards went out.
Have a great week and thank you and Christine again for my cards and gifts. They have already brought me much happiness.

Mz Vickie and Mz Christine,

I was out of town over the weekend and when I got back I had packages in the mail box. They are so lovely and very thoughtful.

Mz Vickie...your card is just soooo very cute!! Ya'll, she put stickers and felt cut-outs and lots of buttons on it. The note you sent telling me about the buttons coming from your son out of your "treasure button jar" just brought tears to my eyes. That must have been pretty hard to part with so I feel doubly honored to have received them. I have it on the mantle in my family room. The magnetic notepad with the farm critters on it is just too cute. I am a list maker and this will be used and you will be in my thoughts as I use it.

Mz Christine....I collect post cards and now I have one from Wisconsin. They are going into my little camper and your state is on my bucket list of places to visit.....perhaps you will be home when I come thru. I also love the wire star ornament with the bells and pine cone, it looks so country and will be a wonderful addition to my tree.... I will probably leave it out all year long in the kitchen with other country décor. The card is sooo sweet. It is also on my mantle in the family room. When I opened the envelop I caught the sweet aroma of the sachets you added. I just love them. They will hang on the wreath at my front door so anytime I pass them I can get a sniff.

Thank you both for being such wonderful farmgirl swap friends. I will cherish all the goodies but mostly I will cherish my new friends.

Hugs and prayers to you both,
Daizy

Vickie,
After the week I've had, your kind words were such a blessing! I'm delighted that the dragonflies have found a happy home with you! I have your card and Daizy's card up on my bookcase in my sewing space-reminding me to be so thankful for all that I have.

Christine,
I can't seem to get my thoughts to be still long enough to make one complete post.
The dragonflies were perfect. I know they are made for Christmas tree decorations and I will use them on my tree at Christmas. However for now they are decorating my Ivy and look simply beautiful glistening as though they are talking to my Ivy.
Thank you simply isn't a word descriptive of the joy both you and Daizy brought to me with your cards, words and gifts.
Take care and be blessed. You are a great blessing to others.

Christine,
I am sorry to hear your family is having health problems. I know they are thankful to have you to help them through the trials they are facing.
You are all in my prayers.

Daizy,
I got your card and the Thanksgiving hand towel. I love them. The Turkey hand towel will be used and enjoyed until it has no threads left in it!
Thank you so much for being a great farmgirl and swap partner.
SpyChicken Posted - Nov 07 2013 : 6:15:27 PM
Vickie, So glad you liked your package! I agree-so much nicer than bills, etc. or the famous "Current Resident!" It's funny b/c I was trying to think where I could find some dragonflies and boom! there they were!

I am not at home right now-helping my sister's family out so I can't post a photo of the wonderfully creative card Vickie sent!! A true farm girl work of art! And an adorable notepad to boot!

Thank you too to Daizy my other swap partner for the very heartfelt Thanksgiving greeting and the cheerful hand towel.

My sister's family is going through a very serious health situation so these lovelies in my mailbox certainly cheered me up-thanks girls!

Christine,
I just received your package/card. It was a wonderful package. I love the scent in the beautiful yellow material, tree ornaments, postcard and your card. Brightened my day to the hilt.
Thank you so very much. You are a true farmgirl and a great swap partner. I'm going to try and post a picture but am pretty challenged in that respect.
Thank you again.

Brenda, thank you so much for the beautiful card and the enclosures. I love tea so those bags will come in handy and the ornament is precious. I just received it today....it had gone to the hospital and then to us! We have the same address as the hospital except ours is North and the mailmen get it mixed up all the time.I had to file a complaint once because they kept our mail so long. Ahhh....the post office!

Hugs,

Hi Christine,
I haven't received your card yet but will be tickled when it gets here. I love the snail mail when it is personalized. Not too fond of the advertisements and credit card solicitations!
I'm so glad you liked your card. It makes it all worth while to put a smile on someone's face.
Take care and be blessed.

Hi Vickie,
I just emailed you via MJF to thank you for the wonderful card you made for the swap! I also LOVED the notepad you sent along-so cute and I use these for all the hundreds of lists I seem to make! LOL I will post a picture here for the thread soon so everyone can see how creative you are!

Hope my package made it safely to you as well!

Connie~ My beautiful Thanksgiving card arrived today! Thank-you so much for such a lovely piece of artwork!! Your cards are beautiful and the adorable turkey confetti is perfect for scattering around the card. We will be out of town for Thanksgiving but I have my card here at my desk.

As usual, my photo won't post in the correct position but you can see what a beautiful card Connie made for me. There was also a packet of cocoa tucked in which I will enjoy some evening now that it is cooler outside on the porch.

Thank-you Connie for such a lovely Thanksgiving card. I hope you and your family have a wonderful time together enjoying all of the fun and yummy food that only Thanksgiving can bring!

Thank You! to Portia for the lovely card. I can even read the recipe for the Pumpkin Pie inside the card. It sounds good.

Sorry, but I can't seem to get it to rotate.

Christa,
Your beautiful "Country Harvest" Thanksgiving card arrived
today. Thanks so much. So pretty and creative with triangle flags
draped across the front and loved the details of veggie and fruit
punches on the front of the flags! Pretty gold string they were
hanging from. Loved the quote inside, not to utter words but to
live by them. Thanks so much!
