Since there was so much interest in the September reclaimed item swap and everyone came up with such creative things, I have decided to do another one for October.
You will need to make one item from reclaimed items. For example: old T shirts or jeans to make aprons, placemats and rugs or home decor; reclaimed and repurposed containers to create things like birdhouses accessories and art; small peices of wood made into buttons, etc - the sky is the limit. This is an opportunity for you to use your creativity and surprise your partner. :)
Sign Ups will go until September 30th
Partners will be posted by October 1st
Mail out date of October 16th

Everyone's reclaimed items have turned out great!
Thank you Brenda for letting me know what you think for the holidays, it can definately be a busy time for everyone!
I am wondering if anyone else wants to keep going through the holidays or if we should pick up in January. Let me know.

I love doing this, but I'm getting quite busy doing gifts for Christmas. A break would be nice for me, but please don't let me stop anyone else. This has been a lot of fun and I love being surprised with the things each of us makes. Hopefully, this Swap will continue on in the future.

Everyone's creations are turning out awesome!
I was wondering what everyone's thoughts are moving forward. I know the holidays are coming up, so I wondered if you all would want to keep going with this swap next month or if we should take some time off? If we do the swap again next month, what are your thoughts on making it a Christmas themed reclaimed item swap? Or should this stay the way it is and not assign a theme? I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Hi Theresa, Thank You for the solar lights.  How coooool! Love them. My husband thinks they are great also. He wants to know where you got the solar lights for the jars. I'm having trouble with some new equipment to post pictures. Will try and get a picture on tomorrow.

Hi All :-) I received my reclaimed item from Sarah, yesterday & of course I LOVE IT. Thank You so much Sarah, I sent you an email as soon as I opened it. I just adore boxes. My DH thinks I'm nuts for buying old boxes just for the graphics but I do & I store all sorts of goodies in them. Sarah wrote that this is a letter box which is made from a chocolates box, the decorations are a vintage thread spool, raffia from a gift, paper scraps from crafting. She used a broken pencil ~ sharpened, leftover printing stock from her DH & the bead is made from recycled glass. Inside there is a place for tags or stamps ;-).JPG) .JPG)

Thank you for the darling glass. Crafted from an old Glade candle jar, flower and button from a thrift store shirt find, leaves from an arrangement destine for the dump, blue ribbon from leftover scrap booking projects. Love the cute card too

Brenda received your package. Love it. The little bag is soooo cute! and I love the heart!
It came at a really great time to cheer me up. We have had a family emergency and I am going to be just a hair late. Your package should go in the mail not later than Wed.

Kelly I got your package!! I LOVE IT!! I would upload a picture but for some reason the upload button won't let me! Kelly made me a pumpkin out of an old piece of wood block from her old bed post, the stem is a limb from a tree that she had trimmed and the leaves are from an old lawn ornament she had.... It's awesome!!! I really like it alot!! Thank You Kelly!!
