Please be sure to remind your partner if there are any specifics (no Halloween, no scented candles, etc.) Let the fun begin...

I got this wonderful box from Betty last week but am just now getting to post it. I felt very spoiled. First, she stuffed the box with streamers. Isn't that table topper something special? I put the sandwich keeper and the sponge in my kitchen right away. Will have to fight the grandgirl (age almost 6) for Sponge Bob. I've enjoyed the tea. The pumpkin has a little light in it and I put it on my window sill and light it every night. Loved the handmade card too. Betty, you did a wonderful job. I love everything! Thank you for being such a great swap partner. Joey

Sarah,
Is the orange thing that you sent Dee a scarf? Did you make it? Whatever it is, the colOrs in it are so pretty, so rich. It looks so lovely. Just wondering what it is. I couldn't quite tell from the photo. Joey

Thanks Ms Sarah for being my swap partner this month. I just love the things you sent. The candy bar was very good, that was eaten right after the picture was taken. :^).

I love the color swaps and would definately continue to participate in them. Like Brenda, I think seeing the colors in advance would be helpful too. I have passed up a couple of things I came across because I wasn't sure if we would be doing that color or not and I too like to make things so having a heads up on the color would be helpful. :)

I, too, enjoy the Color Swaps and would like to continue on over the next few months. Love giving and getting things from other Mary Jane Girls. It's like Christmas all year long. So my husband says. lol Knowing in advance the colors coming up would be helpful. I like to make things if possible. Some times I see such great things, but hesitate to purchase them until I know what the next color will be.

Thanks for hosting this Joey. It's great fun!

I think continuing the color swaps would be fun through the next few months. This is the first one I have done and it was wonderful. I would gladly do yet another one. Thank you again for being our host.

Joey,
I got my purple package last night when I got home! Purple is one of my favorite colors, so I was happy to see it. Funny thing is that I am almost out of soap so I was happy to see the Halloween shaped soap! Lol. I'm sure I will find some use for the buttons and ribbon, you can never have enough of those! The gloves will be very handy this winter, I feel as if you can never have enough of those either! Bandanas are nice for when I'm working and want my hair to stay out of my face since my bangs are short (actually wore it while doing homework last night)
Thank you for being a great swap partner and for hosting these color swaps, I enjoy them a lot!
I'll have to post the photo when I get home from class as my iPad won't upload any for some reason!
:)

Just when I think it can't get any better, I see posted another lovely package photo. You all are the BEST swap partners! Love seeing the different acorns. I'm looking for acorns and haven't seen any. Patsy, did you make the apron? So cute and so "farmgirl." Loved that! Thanks everyone for so promptly following through.
I know we are getting close to the holidays and wanted to see how everyone feels about continuing the color swaps...or would you rather wait till January? Would you like to know the colors I have planned for the next few months so you could shop for everything at once or are you enjoying the surprise? I am so enjoying these color swaps and I think you all are too. I have about 5 more color swaps planned if folks are still interested and then I have another plan for the Spring. Please just let me know what y'all are thinking. I'll go with whatever the majority decides.
Enjoying all the fall colors. Thanks for posting photos so we can all share. Hope everyone is having a happy day. Hugs, Joey

Be on the lookout for a letter from me. Hope to get it out this week.

I received the package and the color is PURPLE. I love purple. It looks so good on me now that my hair is turning grey.

It is beautifully wrapped.

I like everything I received. The purple flower has a pin back on it. I will wear it tomorrow along with the socks. I needed a pair of thin gloves to wear under my mittens during these cold Minnesota winters. Yes, I will draw on my windows with the Window Artist Marker. I do not have a place for the applique but I soon will. The chocolate will be eaten on Thursday while in the tub enjoying a soak in my bath salts and drinking a glass (or two) of wine. I have nothing to do on that day.

Thank you so much Joey.

Patsy,
Thank you for such a wonderful package!! It came wrapped up so pretty:

And I love everything that was in there:

I was just thinking the other day that I need an orange inkpad for my pumpkin stamp - now I don't have to buy one. The tweezers and the pastry brush will definitely come in handy! I love the socks. The chocolate is delicious. I'm going to have to hide it from my husband :) But, my favorite is the apron! I love it!!!! I'm addicted to aprons. I'm always wearing one and looking at them in the stores. The first thing I did was put it on then I opened the chocolate. Thank you so much for a great swap!

I got confused with the Fall Color Swap too and I wondered where my swap partner was and then realized I was in the wrong swap.

Kelly,

I sure am glad you liked your color orange, I really enjoyed making it up for you and I am so glad the cup cake liners didn't get squished. Yay.

I received your wonderful color orange box yesterday and I just absolutely love everything, the fabric pumpkin is so pretty The colors are great. The pot holder for Thanksgiving is just great I didn't have one that has Thanksgiving decorations on it. I love the harvest towel and it is hanging on my stove and looks great. Wonderful orange honey. I tasted some the other day and that is really good. and the orange emery board just what I needed. I have never tried pumpkin spice tea before sounds yummy.
Thanks so much and I will post as soon as I can get the picture uploaded here.
Thanks again Kelly.

Dee,

Thanks so much for the wonderful package!! The candles smell so good, I haven't come across that scent before but really love it. I was on a mission last year to find acorns, but now I don't have to! :)

I sent your package out today. Hope you like it when you receive it and I apologize again for my tardiness in sending it out!

Thank you so much for the Orange fun things. Sticky note has a new list on top page, chipboard magnets on fridge, cupcake papers will be used next week for pumpkin cupcakes, had a cup of tea already, and candle is burning on lamp table. Marigolds will be planted next Spring in the herb garden. Love all the Oranges.
Hugs,

Sorry, picture is sideways.

Hi Marie,
What a lovely box of pretty things. HOWEVER, it isn't from me. This must be from your partner on the Fall Color Swap..maybe?...or a surprise box from some sweet farmgirl? Wonderful things..not from me. I sent your box out on 10/03/13. You should get it soon. Please forgive the envelope. When I went to mail things out I realized I had only 1 envelope and no time to get more. I didn't want to miss my own deadline so I cut the envelope in half and taped it shut. Hope it gets to you OK. Keep me posted. Joey

Joey,

Thank you for the lovely box.

I love the brads and the ribbon. The dish cloths will be well used as will the towel. The clips are already being used and I am looking for the exact right place for the ornament.

Thank you so much.

Darlene,
I love everything you sent me. Cute, cute cute fabric, wonderful maple leaf candle, bee hive stamp....I love bees. The Halloween mini cupcake liners are darling, I will be using them right away. Pretty orange card stock and pumpkin bead craft to make. I also loved the card you made and what you wrote is so special. Thank you for this wonderful gift. You are and always have been such a wonderful swap partner.
