CeeJay had a great idea, as she is cleaning out her craft supplies. I asked if she wouldn't mind if I adopted her swap with some modifications. Here is the idea:

If you have a plethora of stickers, card stock, envelopes, yarn, buttons, scrap booking paper, glitter glue, stamps etc (you get the idea ;) that you do not see yourself putting to good use in the near future, then box it up and swap it out! This is the perfect time of year to clean out and organize, as we begin to get our craft on for the holidays!

Commit to filling one of the small USPS flat rate boxes (I'll confirm the measurement/cost)with neat and tidy items you would love to receive! (trim up the white space on the sticker sheets, untangle the yarn ;)

When you sign up, let us know what types of items you might be in need of for your upcoming projects and also what you can expect to be sending out ("someone looking for doll house crafts. has loads of stamps and ink pads to share"). You might even want to request some supplies to try something new!

Not limited to just papercrafts, etc. If you are a baker who has accumulated a collection of extra tips, I'm sure someone would love to have them.

Open to ideas-if you are interested, please sign up prior to the 30th of this month, for shipping @ the 15th of October.

I'll do the final assignments, but if you have a particular swap partner in mind, let me know!

It looks like Churunga and MrsSarahHall have successfully swapped, so that leaves the following pairs:

Darlenelovesart & LavenderRose
NNdairy & Wildflower17

Ladies, please email your partners with your addresses and have your box in the mail by the 15th, if at all possible-we all know how time flies, so please communicate when it's on its way! Please post some pictures if you can!

Thank you for participating, ladies!!

I'd like to join in please. Here is a picture of what I have at this time.

The Beads are the kind you can iron to make coasters, key chains, etc. Instructions are included.

The teal and red cords are both 100 yds. The blue is 72 yds.

I could use zippers. Any size and any color. Also, buttons, hand sewing needles, and spools of sewing thread.

In order for me to do this I would put together a box that's a mix of things. I don't have enough I want to part with to make a full box of one type of thing. I have some scrapbooking type supplies, material, ribbon, etc. If that's OK sign me up.

I received a lovely email from Ann "Soapmommy" who is interested in doing a long term swap of this nature, so let's see how this pans out, shall we? Hopefully we will get a bit more interest over the next week!

churunga, when I emailed you before I didn't see your post on this page. Do you want to trade the blue yarn pictured for the yarn I emailed you about? I can get it together for you in the next couple of days, just let me know.

I have a medium-sized flat rate box of yarn pictures here which I am willing to trade it for any small or medium left over balls of yarn or any knitting or crocheting tools no longer needed.

I won't be able to participate this time around, but I wondered if this is something you plan to do again? I have been blessed with a designated craft room with a giant closet... both of which are bursting at the seams with the supplies that I desperately need to purge. I won't have time to do this until after Christmas - let me know if this is a swap that will be repeated. :)

I am interested in this, but I'll have to go through some of my stuff and see if I would be willing to part with enough to fill a box. I am interested in receiving all types of things with the exception of yarn. I sew, scrapbook, make cards, cross-stitch, have a few fairy gardens, bake, you get the idea. I just have not gotten the hang of knitting or crocheting. I'll post again after I look at my stuff. This is a wonderful idea C!!
