I am missing one from a farmgirl who has not posted on the Connection for some time and has not responded to my emails. My concern is that things are okay with her.

Hi Farmgirls,
Back by popular demand is the POSTCARD SWAP, this will be our 4th year
In this swap you will select postcards that either:
- represent your STATE or,
- are from one of your favorite VACATION spots.
You will send ONE postcard to EACH person who signs up, and you will receive one postcard from each individual.
IMPORTANT: signing up means that you will need to purchase stamps and postcards and mail to everyone on the list. Last year there were approx. 45 farmgirls who participated.
NOTE: Follow through is vital, please consider carefully before signing up.
Those who have participated in the past have enjoyed receiving these little bits of mail from many, many farmgirls all over the country.
SIGNUPS are open now, will close on MAY 20th.
EMAIL ME YOUR:
- Complete name and complete mailing address
- a correct and complete email address (otherwise you won't get the list)
- your forum name[/purple]
[u][i][size=3]You will have ALL summer to get them ready and in the mail.
MAIL OUT deadline is AUGUST 20th
You can get started by getting your postcards and stamps. You could also put your return address on them, either by writing it on or using labels.
I will compile the mailing list and email it to all of you after the signup period closes.
If you have some photos of your state or vacation spot that you like you can get them made into really nice postcards at postcards.com

I just got two more post cards last night from Diana in Idaho, with the sunset over McGown Pk. pretty, I have not seen much of Idaho. I also got one from Alicia in Wisconsin of the State Capitol, It is a pretty building, neat architecture.

I just wanted to send out a huge THANKYOU to all who sent my family postcards this summer. I am a homeschooling mama and my three little ones LOVED running to the mailbox these last several weeks seeing what they would find. Further, they helped pick out the postcards we sent out. Our world and country maps are in the dining room on the wall and each night we had a great time locating the parts of the country that the post cards came from. We have also added a few vacation destinations to our vacation bucket list because the pictures looked so amazing!
What a wonderful project this has been! Can't wait for next summer

I got home and opened the mailbox , Whoohoo!. Two more postcards, Diana from Idaho, the mountains and the fields are beautiful. And one from Alicia from Wisconsin a awesome sunset. It just made my day. Thank you two so much.

I have 28 postcards and it has been so much fun traveling around the world. I have been to a few of the places and it brought back the memories of those times I spent in those places. For the rest it was nice to see the different areas and see where you live. This has been a great swap. Thanks CJ for hosting this for all of us.
