YES...THIS IS WHERE YOU WILL POST YOUR PICTURES AND THANK YOU'S
FOR MAY MAIL ART.

*FARM SISTERS...If I haven't mentioned this before...Please always email and let me know IF by the end of Each Month...If you never received Mail Art for that month. That is the only way I can keep feelings from getting hurt. Example...I never received Mail Art for 2 different Months but I was so busy keeping track of all of YOU that I forgot to contact my Mail Art Person. I did contact the last one and she has yet to respond to me. SO...if that happens again...that person will be dropped from Mail Art.
GOOD COMMUNICATION IS ESSENTIAL!*

LETS ALL PLAY NICE AND HAVE A GREAT TIME AS MAIL ARTISTS!

Hugs and Blessings,

Oh Patsy that's lovely! Hi Lisa, I've been experimenting with the yoyo flowers, it's fun and I was surprised at the different flower petals you can make with one little circle. One method is to fold the circle in half and gather the raw edge to one side forming a rounded petal. Another way is to fold the circle in half and half again, gather up the raw edge to make a more pointed petal. This website has a neat tutorial on a cute yoyo flower - http://www.momfetti.com/2009/10/tutorial-fabric-flower-pin-part-2.html. It's a fun, inexpensive and quick project to do, endless color combinations and length whatever you desire. It can be bunched up as a bowl filler or drape or hang just about anywhere. I've also seen some yoyo flowers like tulips but haven't tried that one yet.

What a beautiful work of art Patsy. Love the crocheted flowers and antique look.

This a a picture of the May Mail Art that I sent to Linsey (greniis). Antique tattered ribbon, my own crochet flowers, lace, and lot of fun making this project.
The U.S. Postal Service tracking service shows that it was delivered May 20. I emailed Linsey and posted on this site asking if she has received my mail art for May. I have not had any response from Linsy. I hope she liked my art mail and tuck-ins and is O.K.

Thanks, Chip (Chris in Austin)

LISA.. WHAT FUN !! Got your mail art .. was amazing. A collection of old western pictures and a narrative of the area of California that you live in. I especially enjoyed your tales of the old western motion pictures that were filmed there. And the Hart (William Hart) Park Mansion and a great musuem of western art, saddles and memoribilia. The the Melody Ranch .. the old movie ranch once owned by Gene Autry, that is still used today in the April Cowboy Fest. Thank you so much for the insight into that era of western movie heroes and art.

Hi Sandy, I do a handmade card with all my swaps but not that great at the cards so I like to do a little something extra, especially for mother's day!

Anita I just love the garland that you made for your swap partner. Beautiful! I didn't realize we could do something other than cards for mail art. I'm not good at card making, but love to do other things. Can't wait for June!
Hugs to all, Sandy

Just wanted to shout out a huge thank you to Infinite Wildflower! I received her lovely mail art yesterday in my box and the sweet thoughtfulness and care that went into everything was just beautiful. I especially loved the following lines:

Forget not to be patient with yourself
Forget not the difference between good and foolish
Forget not to be happy now!
Forget not the why behind the what
Forget not that the Lord loves you.

Breanna,
Thanks for the cute May Mail Art card and tucks I received yesterday. Just loved it when I opened the package and the buttons came tumbling out. I like pretty buttons. Always on the lookout for them at swaps or shops. You and I are getting to swap with each other quite often. It is fun to reconnect with farm sisters. My summer is starting off very well. Have planted lots of flowers so far. Hope your summer will be a good one.
Hugs,

Patsy

Here is the flower garland I sent to Becky. Have a great week everyone and keep postin' those pics, love to see what everyone is making.
