Okay ladies, only sign up if you have time to do this. Of course you are more than welcome to add little trinkets or recipes to your package, but that is up to you. Show some love to your farmgirl friends.

Andee, Farmgirl mail arrived today with the prettiest flower dishcloth and matching scrubby! The dishcloth looks like a big summer flower and it is just the cutest ever! You did a great job! I also love the idea of the scrubby that I can just throw in the wash to clean. It is so much cleaner to have dish washing items that you can wash every day or so to prevent harmful bacteria from growing. Plus they are so cute in the kitchen. Thank-you for being my swap buddy! Happy Summer to you!

Hey Jenne, I got my package today! I love it! How did you know I love sunflowers? The dishcloth is so beautifully made! And I love the little cross stich sampler, can't wait to do it. I just had an idea, I think when it is done I will sew it onto a cotton dishtowel. What do you think?
And a sweet card, telling me a little bit about yourself. I like flea markets and thrift stores too.
I hope you have a wonderful summer, maybe we will be swap partners again.
Big Hug, Sandy

P.S. Yours is ready to go out, but it will be Friday.

Thank you Brenda! The kids and I opened the mailbox this past Thursday and found these goodies in the box! What joy it has brought me to look at each day as I clean up after our meals and in home projects. Not only were the cloths beautiful, but the tuck ins are very sweet as well. Thank you so much! And your package was sent Friday afternoon-- the post office tracker says it should be in your mailbox tomorrow!

Diane, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. We have all been sending prayers your way.!!Since several of us had finished out swaps, I went ahead and organized pairs which are now in process of mailing . You can read our decision to go ahead, for those that were ready, in the spirit of helping you. You have been so wonderful to organize our dishcloth swaps and I think others agree that we so appreciate it!! Whenever you fell ready to host another swap, I know many of us will gladly join in. We hope you will give yourself plenty of time to rest and catch up at home. Take care!

Diana,

I am so sorry to hear this news. What a shock indeed. I am so grateful that you were there with both of them when it was time. And what a sweet, sad still, gesture to have a joint ceremony. 53 years is a long time and I think I would want the same thing.

Your farm girl sisters took care of keeping the swap going and I am so lucky to be part of this swap.

Take your time in healing and being good to you right now.

Andee

Hello Ladies

Its me.....thank you for all the prayers and for continuing on with this swap in my place. Things turned out way different then it was suppose to and sometimes you wonder why and sometimes you just have to accept it for the best. I went back to Michigan because my dad said his stomach was bothering him and he had to go to the hospital immediately. Rush drive to Michigan from MN. Long story short he was in and out of the hospital, emergency room, dr office and back in the hospital from April 28 until May 9th when they opened him up surgically because they couldnt figure out what was wrong with him. And as a reminder he has been taking care of my mom with cancer and alzheimers literally by himself for the last 7 years by his choice. WHen they did the operation they found that at some point during that last 12 hours a blood clot had cut off the blood to his small intestine, large intestine and colon and it was "dead" from lack of blood supply. He died 5 hours later. My son thankfully was playing baseball in Toldeo and made it to be with me as the rest of our family is all over the country. This was a shock beyond belief.

My mother was diagnosed with a third round of cancer on March 28 and this time she was not going to make a comeback and is why she was in home hospice care. On May 20 she died at home. We did a joint funeral as they have been married for 53 years and I didnt feel they would want it any other way.

So thank you again, I know I have a few email from some of you and I havent really been on line much at all except to watch my sons baseball :). So I think we will skip a June swap and in a few days I will set up a July swap if that is okay with everyone.
