Hey Girls!
Mother's Day is only a few weeks away...Sunday, May 12th. This swap is for everyone! I know most everyone is a Mother, Grandmother, or a Mother to a sweet dog, kitty, or sweet farm animal.

"Unless someone wants a second partner, I will not be joining this swap since I have an odd number of ladies to sign up. If you want a second partner please let me know!"

Packages go out by Friday, May 3rd. Start planning what we are going to send as soon as we sign up...
There are only a couple of specifics for this swap. Please send a card...handmade or bought...adding your own personal touches. If you choose let your partner know who was such an influential lady on you when you were growing up and why.
You may choose whatever you want to include in your partners package. It doesn't have to be extravagant, but please make it nice and something that any sweet farm girl sister can use.

Marlene... I received my Mothers Day box today and I was thrilled with all the goodies. The cup cake towel could not be cuter, napkins are good and springy, I love the coasters, and the BEAUTIFUL Cross bookmark, did you make them? 2 yr planner, 2 bracelets, sweet cherry bandana that will be used a lot, darling pin that I love. A lovely card that I had fun reading and learning a bit about you and your family. Thank you so much for such a wonderful gift. Happy Mothers Day and be safe.

Whoop!!! When I got home today my lovely swap from Stephanie was waiting for me. The cutest denim bag was filled with mint orange candies, lavender mineral bath, sunflower seeds , small notebook for a purse and the sweetest card!! Thank- you so much for such a wonderful surprise . My Mother's Day celebration got a fabulous Farmgirl jump start today. Happy Mother's Day Stephanie!! I hope it is a lovely weekend in Iowa for getting out and enjoying the beautiful Spring!

Hi Stephanie-- I am delighted that you loved your swap!! The necklace, handmade box, and card with the tea bag were made at a local art workshop which is part of the outreach for the Gainesville Catholic Worker. I crocheted the soap saver bag and my Farmgirl buddy made the cloth gift bag. Enjoy !!

Judy, wow I too just received my lovely box. The flag is so springy and cute. Love the kitchen towel, and the teas will be so yummy. The garden butterfly and stone are beautiful and I just LOVE them. The paper, and note cards will come in handy. The candy has all been spoken for. Teas to take on the go will come in handy for my DH to mix while he is off at work. Also the oh so pretty have been used by my daughter to make a card already now. Your card was nice to read and brought a wonderful smile. Thank you so much for a wonderful fun box to get to open today.

Today, I got the sweet box you sent me! The ceramic flower pot is so beautiful! I already have plans to plant a tea rose it in that my DH got me for Valentines Day! I love the pink garden gloves(needed some new ones), tiny Paula Deen cast iron skillet with candle in it. It smells sooooooooooo good! The oatmeal and almond bar will be so lovely when taking a nice long relaxing bath. Also, I can't wait to plant the seeds you sent me and enjoy some tea afterward. The handmade card was so lovely. I am so happy that you have so many lovely ladies in your life that you cherish. Even though my mother and grandmothers have gone on to be with the Lord...I have my sister, sisters-in-law and my sweet and wonderful nieces. They are all treasures to me! My camera is on the blink...if it worked...I would have been so happy to post a picture...

Julie, I have been out all morning trying to plant a few flowers, I was taking a break when the mail came! Oh my Goodness! I love it all. The story of your Daughter is so heart warming! and how blessed you are! to have her near by! I'm so happy for her!! and Congrats on her Graduation from College! She is indeed! someone to Honor this Mother's Day! That hand embroidered Towel is so charming! I can't believe you let it go! But I'm glad you did!! LOL!! Sunflowers Seeds, any flavor are my favorite!!I love the note pads, Recipe Book, and Word Search for the Ole Noggin! and those Veggie cards in that adorable box box are just awesome!!I love garden stuff! Send anything you like. Some ideas are teas, seasonal "what nots", chocolates, cookies, small garden items, candles, windchimes, books, journals note pads and pens, picture frames...just anything most likely you would like for yourself. Hope you have a lot of enjoyment with this, especially since you are new. If you like, include a card with your package. Farmgirls always enjoy this with their package.
