This year The National Day of Prayer will be Thursday, May 2nd. This may be an unusual exchange...but prayerfully many farmgirl sisters will sign up. We have farm sisters all across the nation from all walks of life. Everyone may not have the same beliefs or be of the same faith...but I think most of the farmgirls do believe in prayer. Each one of us needs encouragment and prayers from time to time. And so do our family...friends...communities...and the leaders of our nation!!!

Tiana(Hodge Lodge)even though you are fairly new to the site...you have jumped right in and been an encourager and great friend to all (especially me:):):)from the start. It is farmgirl sisters such as yourself that makes the MJF site such a pleasant place to be.

Rules are simple and as follows:
Signups end April 12th.
Partners will be posted by April 15th.
Contact partners as soon as possible to exchange addresses.
Mail out packages no later than April 24th.
Please send your partner a letter or card of encouragement. If you like you may include prayer requests.
Send your partner a little token of encouragement...something they can keep to remind them they are in your thoughts and prayers.
Some ideas might be a refrigerator magnet, an address book, small shelf critter, prayer journal, pretty pen and notepad, key chain, bookmarker, bracelet, etc...anything to remind them they are in your thoughts and prayers. If you choose to send something else that is fine...but try to make it something they can keep.
I hope everyone has a wonderful time with this swap. Thanks to all who sign up and to Connie(Killarney) and Tiana(Hodge Lodge) who helped bring this swap to life.

Hi Judy~ Thank you again for the sweet gifts, I received tea, notecards which I can always use, flower sticky note pad, wallet calendar with prayer, pocket notebook, pocket photo album, word seek book, love these, and the book Consider Truth, God's Truth. The beautiful Tulip Card which represents new life.

Hi Peggy! They are little potholders :) They kind of fold around the tips of your fingers and are meant for doing things like emptying water out of a pan etc. I'm glad you liked your gift!! Joyce |

Joyce...I got the pkg today and was it ever worth waiting for!!! I love the apron!!! The beautiful homemade card,
the Psalms 118:29 verse Plague, the Antique note pad, and last but not least The Little Red ??????? I'm sorry to
say that I am not sure what they are. You will have to let me know how to use them. LOL I'm sure I'm the only

It seems like it takes a long time when sending and receiving Internationally.

Today, I got the sweet package you sent me! Thank you so much for the book "Simple Pleasures", 101 Words of Blessing, Forget-Me-Not Seed, Colorado Tea, Colorado Pencil and the sweetest little Angel Pendant, which reminds me that God always has his angels keeping guard over us. I love to read and know I will enjoy the book and the Words of Blessing! Also, thank you for the sweet card. I loved doing this swap and am glad that you enjoyed it so much!

I would love to join this swap again next year too, The more we do prayer the more power goes out to work, and maybe we could pick a time where we could all be on line at the same time and pray some prayers together, with strength in numbers they will be stronger and we can pray for who ever is in need at that time together.

Just emailed with my prayer partner - we have both been praying for each other and our gifts are going in the mail tomorrow - - - so glad she is patient with me and she has certainly had a busy life too - It looks like some really neat encouraging gifts are being exchanged!

Today is the "official" National Day of Prayer. I told my daughter, as I do every day, more than once, that I'm praying . . .
Told her today that for me, everyday is a day of prayer and there is no exception to that. I pray! I've learned what a valuable tool that is and that it is POWERFUL BEYOND DESCRIPTION!
