Posted - Jan 21 2013 : 06:12:14 AM What??? Yep, let's do a No Paper ATC. The backing must be something other than paper...think wood, felt, you can do it!! I know it!! Then nothing on the card can be paper. Think lace, embroidery, fabric, embellishments, buttons....but not only buttons, OK? The theme will be senders choice just make it beautiful. This will be a little challenging but fun! (I got the inspiration from a magazine I was looking in.) I immediately thought of my farm girl friends.

Place your name, date, name of swap, and MJF on a small piece of fabric and safety pin it to the back of the ATC....
Sign up ends February 15 Send out March 2nd. Please do your best work and have fun!! Smiles
An Artist Trading Card (ATC) is a 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch card that has a cardboard backing (cereal boxes work well when cut to size) Then the front of the card is decorated by either painting, covering the card with pretty paper and then embellishing it with buttons, lace, or metal objects. Most have a theme assigned to them, so you decorate according to the theme. They become addictive when you start. You can google ATC and many different kinds will come up. hope this helps!!

Malena, I LOVED your ATC!!! It came in the mail yesterday and brought a big smile to my face. It is so cuuuuute! Love the little purse look and the colors are gorgeous! I have the "Peace" rock on my kitchen shelf above the sink. Love that, too! Thank you so very much! Yours is done and by the door to be mailed tomorrow. I planned on hitting the post office yesterday morning but my son's sick silkie chick ended up getting my attention first. :o) Thankfully she's doing much better today!

Yours has been ready, and mailing it just slipped my mind. It will go out Monday. Please let me know when you get it.
