Hey Farmgirls!
Anyone up for an Easter Swap? I know it seems a little early to think about Easter. However, it will be on March 31st this year.

So here we go!
1. Gather things together that a farmgirl might like to celebrate the Easter Holiday. Anything handmade is always special. Other ideas would be any decoration for Easter or Spring, soaps, candles, handwritten recipes, scrapbooking materials, assorted greeting cards, stationery, etc.
2. Enclose a Easter card or handwritten note with your goodies.
3. Signups will end February 22nd.
4. Partners will be posted by February 25th.
Please mail your packages by March 8th to ensure that your partner will receive her package by Easter.

Kim,
I received your package the other day. It was a nice surprise after a hectic day. You did such a wonderful job. I loved your attention to detail and how you packaged everything. I was sad this year because I didn't make time to color eggs but next year I will be prepared unless I don't have eggs on hand :). Your deviled eggs sounded so neat. I will have to try that next year. I loved my socks. I enjoy silly socks. Thank you for the notecards. That is something I always wish I have on hand but usually don't. Thank you as we'll for the cute boxes and angel pin, the mirror which is adorable with its matching pouch, and the little cupcake pillow is sweet. Thank you for everything :) |

I am late in sending your Easter basket; I did receive your package and loved every bit of it. There are candle cubes, an Easter stamp, a wonderful Easter ornament, a pen and little chickies. I will be making cookies with the cookie cutter. Just wanted to let you know that I have had a death in the family and it hit me hard. I am just now getting back to work and it isn’t easy. My twin brother was also hit with a divorce and knocked him for a loop. We are very close and it is hard to take. Nuff about that...I will be sending your box tomorrow in the mail. I will do my best to never let this happen again (being late).

Debbie (buzzn bee)--The Easter bunny brought a most wonderful basket full of goodies for me! It was so fun unpacking the gorgeous basket full of treats and decorations. Loved the handmade sign and I must admit that the tootsie rolls didn't hang out for long! Haha. Thank you SO much for my basket!

My package arrived today - and what a blessing! Thank you, Roe!
I received chocolate, cookies, spring-themed tissues, an adorable bunny, cute napkins, a mirror in a beautiful case, a melon candle (my favorite), and a pocket-size notebook and more - all inside a beautifully decorated and lined Easter egg carton.
This gift was such so special and I'm overjoyed. Thank you again, Roe. God Bless you! |

I am grateful to all who signed up. Thank you for all your sweet and kind compliments. I love that the farm girls can make new friends through the swaps. Hodge Lodge(Tiana) and I are doing one together...a Tea and Crumpet Swap! I have never done a Tea Party Swap...but it sounds like fun. I love cold raspberry tea! Judy, so glad you liked everything! Tt was my pleasure!! I love the little birds on the soap too! There is still a small old -fashioned Drugstore near my home in Millington, Tn. and they have the cutest little gift counter. It reminds me of one I use to go to with my granny! Happy Early Easter!

Hi Portia, I got home today, was gone all last week with work, and there waiting for me was your package. What a wonderful box filled with so many very nice things. You made me believe there really is an Easter Bunny. Ladies I got a sweet oven mitt, a hand towel with a puppy holding a basket, primrose tealites, bunny cookie cutter, Easter socks, Easter plates and napkins, Easter note pad with pen, a really cute bucket with a bunny filled with candy (that has disappeared), bunny tissues, and a beautiful card. I wish I could post a picture to show you all, but I'm still working on figuring out what I consider the high tech stuff. Thank you so very, very much, you truely are a wonderful farmgirl sister, you made my Easter and spring. Thank you Hugs Karla

Thank you so much for my box of sweet Easter goodies!!! I have the little tulip vase and bird sitting on my shelf. How it brightens my day. Oh and the fragrance of the candle you sent. Like a fresh breath of Spring. And a box of mathches in pink...I have never saw those before. Chocolates...mmm will share one with my DH later today! I almost forgot the beautiful floral hankies!!!Love Love Love them!

Hi Terri~ The nesting rabbit dolls arrived late yesterday and oh boy, are they cute!!! I have them all lined up around my little egg tree and they just add the perfect colorful touch. Thank-you so very much! It was a great surprise.
