HOPE YOU GUYS HAVE A LOT OF FUN WITH THE SWAP!!!

As many of us love most everything about Nature and the Changing of the Seasons, I thought it would be fun to have a "Sweet Seasons Exchange". We would send a special gift box to our Farmgirl partner 4 times a year, just as the Season begins to change. Each of us will have something fun to open as we celebrate the beginning of each new Season.
Spring begins March 20th-send gift box out by March 11th.
Summer begins June 21st-send gift box out by June 11th.
Fall begins September 22nd-send gift box out by September 11th.
Winter begins December 21st-send gift box out by December 11th.
In between we can send Birthday Cards, Anniversary Cards and or Gifts for each or a Thinking of You Card from time to time.
Please try to make your gift box special, by filling it with sweet and wonderful things that a farm girl would like, keeping the Season in mind.
If any of you have wanted to join a particular swap and it has already closed, this might be the one for you.
Sign ups will end February 2nd. This will give everyone a little over a month to get everything together for your Spring gift box.
If you have any idea of things that might be fun to include in our gift boxes please post them.
"Sweet Seasons" partners will be posted the week of February 3rd.
Once partners are assigned, you guys can exchange Birthdates, Addresses, Emails, Anniversaries and Special Interests each of you have.
The USPS Priorty Flat Rate Boxes might be a good idea to use for sending your special gifts in each Season. This would probably save on shipping for everyone.
I hope this turns out to be a lot of fun for everyone.

Oh, and I realized I never publicly thanked Judy, our swap hostess for filling in and sending me a lovely Fall Box when my other farm sister had issues.
I loved everything I got in that package, too as Autumn is my favorite time of the year! Here is a pic of that lot of goodies!

My only question now is where do we go from here? Does this swap end with the end of this year or do we continue on with our given partners into the new year, too?!

Thanks so much for the amazing box of goodies for the winter. I love the take along mug and the books are wonderful. I love books. The tea is great for the cold winter days to come. Everything else is absolutely perfect. The Friends word cutout is on the book shelf in my living room and the little wooden saying "Very little is needed to make a happy life" is next to it. How true it is.
Thanks for being my partner for the Swap. Hope we will be in a Swap of some kind again.

Jeny, thank you so much for the wonderful box I received today....mug with lots of tea, great tea towel with Joy printed on it, a wonderful smelling candle from New Orleans (you know I am an honorary Louisiana gal), and those delicious roasted pecans and almonds. My daughter and I started gobbling those as fast as possible! What a great treat to recieve this on such a rainy and dreary Northeast day.

RoDonna - I received my package in the mail yesterday!!!! Thank you so very very much - I LOVE it :) Today was our Thanksgiving Dinner (Canadian) and I used all the decorations for it :) I can't thank you enough - each and every item was so special, the coasters the turkey - thank you thank you!! I feel spoiled :) |

Oh I'm SO glad you like it RoDonna! I had a lot of fun putting it together :) I can't wait until I get my fall package - to be honest, I've been so busy unpacking etc. so it's great to get it after we're settled a bit so I can enjoy it more :) |

You guys, I am so sad. I am not sure why but I have not had contact from my sweet seasons partner and have not gotten packages for summer or fall despite sending out mine for spring and summer. I am not trying to slam anyone as I know life happens sometimes and things like swaps fall to the bottom of the tower of obligations at times despite our best intentions. It just makes me sad because seasons are so important to me and I am having a bit of a hard time right now. Autumn is so my favorite season that I named my daughter after it! It makes me so sad to miss out.
I am not sure what to do...shall I send out the Fall swap to my designated partner or no? I think it would still cheer me to share some Autumn spirit even if I get none back, so yes, I think I will send it out anyways.

Jeny, I received my package today and it is wonderful! I love all the scrapbooking items. The glass is precious; my daughter will probably claim that! Love the big yellow flower, too. Of course, the Gulf Coast towel is special because I spent so many years on the Gulf Coast---and wish I were still there!!!! I think my favorite is the Prayer Jar, though. Ladies, it is a clear jar filled with payer cards. I just love them!!!!!! Thanks again for such a great box.

Judy, I got your package in the mail today... Loved it all! Thank you so much!! Fall is my absolute favorite season, and I love sunflowers! The little scarecrow guy was adorable (my youngest grabbed him and ran to show his brothers!), the candles smells divine, the pot holder and kitchen towel are wonderful!! I can't wait to do something crafty with those beautiful fall leaves, and we all enjoyed the chocolate covered pretzels!! Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness! (( hugs ))

Oh my gosh Amanda I love everything and thank you so much for the beautiful birthday bracelet! I will treasure it always.  This SWAP has convinced my daughter to start looking at this site too. And right now I'm having a delicious mug of the Cinnamon Apple Spice tea. Mmmmm
