1. Partners posted Nov 11th.
2. You must email your partner and exchange names & addresses by November 14th. Mail out deadline is November 30.
3.Body of doll should be 3”-5” (not counting the loop on top of head or beads hanging below).
4. Doll can be made from, and decorated with, any materials. (fabric, felt, beads, etc)
5. If you need ideas, do a google images search or see tutorials on youtube.

NANCY.. hope you don't mind.. but the girls were sitting for a Christmas portrait!... Soo cute seeing 6 little Dotees all dressed up in Christmas Reds and smiling for the Camera... I also had each one sit for their own picture, so I have one of Elizabeth Mimi to post. As I meantioned in my note.. She was an exchange student to Paris and when she returned, her mother bemoaned "How you gonna keep them down on the farm, after they've seen Paree?"
Well Mimi loves world travel now, it's true, but she always takes her favorite pet chicken "Fifi" with her where ever she goes.
She is true to the old saying" You can take the girl away from the farm, but you can't take the farm out of the farmgirl." LOL... May I present Elizabeth Mimi (oh, and Fifi). :)

aww thanks, Brenda and Darlene! I just love the dotee dolls! I'm taking a break for the month of Dec though, just too much going on. But I'll start the dotee swaps again in Jan.

Ruby, I got your sweet babushka (or is it Matryoshka) doll earlier this week, what a clever idea, and I absolutely loved your color choices. Thank you so much! I tried to post her picture but my phone was not cooperating that night.
I made it to the post office at 5 minutes till 5:00 on Friday night, so your Dotee should be arriving soon!

Mary Jane, thank you so much for sending sweet, little Mimi Elizabeth to me. She had a wonderful trip and Fifi is just fine. Her red had and purse are so cute.
Thank you also for all the "goodies" you sent. The fabric and gems will be used to make a doll. The purse will go well with my pink watch and earrings. Everything just lightened up my life.
I will take such good care of Mimi. She will join my other Dotees which are hanging in my sewing room.
I hope that she doesn't flirt too much with Tucker. He is kind of shy.

Well, Lindy Loo finally stopped all the girl talk yesterday, and had a spot of tea and a some tea cakes with Liz before Liz caught a plane to meet Nancy and her Dotees.
So she agreed to a photo op, but wants her picture to appear on the society page. What did I tell you, she's a socialite !! Hope you enjoy meeting her !

Hi Madeline,
I received Cassia Aoife today, What a sweetie. Her little black skirt with fringe on the bottom with little white buttons and little plaid shirt and then the little black matching bow on her hair of red orange... she is so adorable. I love her sweet little face. I will take a picture and save it until I can get my computer to work with pictures. Thank you for the pretzel rod candy and the Thanksgiving card. It is really nice.

Hi, Nancy..
Lindy Loo arrived this morning.. My she is a fine gal ! I think she was a socialite when she was younger. She has her RED hair in a fine bun with fancy jewels around it instead of ribbons. She is bedecked in lovely jewelry and arrived in a fancy "limo". She even came with a little gift! This lady definitely understands the social scene.
She is currently meeting the other gals and if she can stop socializing long enough, I may be able to get a picture of her posted this week!
Thanks for sharing.. OH>> AS FOR LITTLE LIZ.. well, she is such a gad about that she "escaped" again and went on a bus trip to Houston for a ittle shopping. You know how the farm girls are when they leave the farm and go to the big city! She plans to be back soon, so I will personally drive her to the airport for her flight to you !! LOL.. She is a gad-about... you will have to watch her.
