Cynthia, I received my yo's yo's in the mail. I love the Christmas one with the little Rudolph! I need to start going on a cute button hunt if I participate in more swaps. Thank you also for the other items in the envelope. I found a pattern this week for a yo-yo necklace so I may have a go at using my yo-yos for that project. Thank you so much and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Thanks Peggy and Judith for the lovely compliments! One of the reasons I was late getting them out was because I was waiting for one last packet of buttons I had ordered from an Etsy sight, which turns out they came from Canada and why I guess it took so long to get here?? Anyway, I got them the day before left for a conference and I was gone all week, but got them out as soon as I could when I got back. Note to self...order buttons right from the get go to make sure they get here in time

I enjoyed doing hearts this time, which was my first time. Can't wait to see what we'll be doing after the first of the year!

Thank you to everyone for all the lovely yo-yo's and tucks that I received in this round!! Now that we've got some time, I'm going to figure out what I want to do with my lovely yo-yo's thus far...thinking of making a collage out of them...hmmmm...

Linda, I hope everything went well with your surgery yesterday and I will keep you in my prayers for a speedy recovery!

Wishing you all a lovely Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday if we don't touch base before then!!!!!

Hi Cynthia...I received your YOYO's today too. Loved your materials...but I think your buttons
were my all time favorites (even over what I used)...you really found some good ones.
Thanks for the tucks too they were great!!! Loved It All!!!

Will try to post a picture tomorrow...but don't hold your breath...I have been having terrible
luck posting on this Thread. But I always try a couple of times with each gal's yoyo's before
I give up. LOL

Linda...also praying your surgery was successful and that you will recover faster than anyone
expects.

Love and Hugs,
peggy

Cynthia, I received your yo-yo's today! They are all so different! Five out of six I have never seen before. And loved the checked fabric especially. Super tuck ins! Thank you so much! I am thinking February for one of those tucks!

Linda "sisarge", I hope your surgery today went well! Prayers going out to you, and hope you mend quickly!

Linda...so sorry to hear about you having to have back surgery. We will definately keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Hope it doesn't ruin your Holidays but just improves them and makes them easier for you.

Loved your idea of putting your tucks in a tin for your granddaughters to enjoy. I always use mine for Mail
Art Projects or to bling up a card or letter to someone who needs a bit of encouragement.

Would be fun to hear what the rest of you do with yours. And your YoYo's too. Right now I have a couple jars full of them...but as you know I have shown my projects in the past. We could use some of you others
sharing what you are doing with them. I thought for my son's wedding we could have the flower girl throw them instead of flowers (but I don't know if I can part with them). Also, saw a darling tree-skirt edged
in yoyo's. I really liked that idea too.

More later girls...prayer going up for you right now Linda!

blessings and hugs,
peggy

Judith, I also received your yoyo's and the beautiful tucks, I have been putting all my tucks in a large round tin, and my granddaughters, always have to look at them, they love all the little items. Any ideas, on how to showcase these things, they are just interesting things. thought about a scrapbook? but for now, they love going thru the tin, and they can always tell what is new, since the last time that they were here. Well, ladies, Friday the 16th I am having surgery, back surgery, had it 25 years ago and did great, now praying this is the same way. This is a little worse, I have a vertebrae that is crumbling and pressing on my spinal column, he is going to remove it, and don't know all the terms, and won't bore ya, but he is going to get me going good as new, Will be a longer recovery and 3-5 days in hospital. But keep me in your thoughts and prayers, I will be looking forward to yoyo time again, I have my house in order and my craft room all cleaned up. so I am ready, don't want another year, like what I have just had. Huggs!! Linda

Sorry Linda...I have attempted four times now to post your YOYO Picture and
it just isn't going to happen. Hope some one else can take a picture and post.
So frustrating!!!!

As far as I can tell we have one person who hasn't sent hers out. Soon, we hope!

Hey, Lesley Davis YoYo Mama...I got your YoYo's today. You had some great buttons and fabric.
Especially loved the Apple, since we both come from WA STATE. Hadn't seen one of those
buttons before.

Thanks so much and hope you will join us again in January for another Swap.

Judith...sorry to hear that your Fibro and CF is beating you up. I am right there with you girl.
Isn't it nice to have friends to suffer with. LOL Seriously...I find it very comforting to have
other women who know what I am going through...so, I figure you do too.

Linda...sent you an email with addresses. Will be looking forward to receiving them.

Remember me mentioning the YoYo Christmas Trees? Well, I went to Joannes to get the Styrafoam trees
and they were rediculously expensive!!! Guess I won't be making those until styrafoam prices go down.
Was so bummed about it. I may go online and see if I can find them cheaper...somewhere else.

Hugs to all,
peggy

So, keep your eyes pealed for them!!!

We will be taking a break on making YoYo's until the first of the year.
