Okay girls thanks so much for your giving me time to "get it together". June - American Flags and July - Summer theme.
Blocks are 12 " finished (12 1/2" unfinished".
Please let me know how many for each swap you would like. Or do you want to swap with the same person for both blocks?

Nettie - Cherise (June and July)
Donna - Cherise (June and July)
Fran - Joan ( June and July)

Rebecca - Joan ( July)
Rebecca - Toni (June)

Barbara - Toni (July)
Barbara - Joan (June)

Hi Barbara, Received my block loved it!! Did I mess up? I sent you a summer themed block,
and sent the patriotic block to Rebecca, should I have sent you a patriotic block? If so
I will get one out to you. But at any rate look at the great block that Barbara sent.

That's so cool that you got an embroidery machine! I'm hoping to get one someday. Thanks for using it for the block you made me. It makes it so special.

Hi Cherise,

I am so glad you liked your blocks. I used my new embroidery machine to do the bicycle. It was such fun to use it.
Our quilts once we put them together are going to be very unique.

I received your beautiful blocks today! I absolutely LOVE the summer one!!! Did you embroider that bicycle yourself? It's fabulous! And the colors of the block are my favorites! How did you know?!!! The patriotic block is great too! Thanks for both of the blocks, the work that went into them and the extra goodies! I love it all!

Have a Great Weekend!

Everyone's blocks are just lovely!!!

Don't worry, Nettie. There was no theme for June other than summer colors. Joan did a super cute block with ants printed on red gringham like a picnic cloth & some watermelon print. I felt bad that mine wasn't as cutely planned out as her's was but I haven't gotten to go to a fabric store for soooooo long so I had to work with what was in my stash. So I went bright & sunny. :)

Joan, Iam really glad you liked everything. I really enjoyed making the blocks for you, I haven't gotten to sew much this year so it was wounderful for me to get behind the sewing machine again...I do hope its ok that my blocks turned out to be 13inches. I don't how Ive managed to do that so many times this month! Even the wonky blocks where 13inches but they where easy to trim down to 12.

Oh dear were we suppose to do something that had to do with the sun for our June block? I did an activity for summer.
Cherise, if its not right let me know and I will make another.

Cherise,

I received your pretty blocks. The sunshine is just too cute. You really took sometime hand embroidering that sun. The patriotic one is great.

Mine are in the mail today. The post office said you should receive it by Thursday. Fingers Crossed that you do.

I hope you like them.

Dear Toni,
I received your package Saturday, but did not have time to open until last night. Wow! What a great block! Thank you also for the tucks, fabric, emery board, pins. You did way too much. I have to say my favorite was the handmade card and your wonderful note. It was like we were sitting together over a piece of your wonderful pie (lol) having a great chat. I have read it several times already and really appreciate all you shared with me!
Fondly,
Rebecca

I got your blocks out in the mail today, Joan. I think the post lady said you should get them around monday. :)

I like looking at what everyone is doing so I try to make a point to post pics, too. If you can't get a pic loaded when you get he blocks I took a pic of them before I packed them up. Just let me know if you want me to post it. :)

I am thinking of a table topper, but your idea of a table runner sounds great too.

Rebecca,

Happy to hear that you like the primitive block.

I don't know yet what I am going to do with all of them. I thought a throw or perhaps a full quilt.... hmmm a table runner sounds nice... don't know yet. Any ideas ladies?????? Whatever we do, we surely should post pictures when finished.

Hi there, ladies. :)

I just wanted to let Joan (Jonesy) know I got her wounderful blocks. They're so pretty! And the add-on gifts are great too! Iam addicted to trims & the magnets are the nice flat ones that my cats can't steal off the fridge. :D

Joan, Iam going to get your blocks out to you around friday. Iam just putting the finishing touches on everything. ;)
