I was thinking we should do an "altered plate" swap.
All you have to do is get a pretty plate (From the thrift store if you don't have one your willing to part with on hand) and make it even prettier! You can do anything you want like converting it into a chalk board, picture frame, wall hanging, mirror, cake stand, whatever! Just make it farmgirl awesome!

You may add on as many or as few gifts as you like. I know we're all very understanding ladies here...So, in no way feel discouraged if you don't have the money to spoil your swap partners. Everybodies plates look sooo pretty! You do great art ladies!!!
As usual Iam alittle behind but I plan on doing mine tomorrow...My only promble thus far is my DH put my hot glue gun somewhere & I can't find it. >:(
I remember telling him quite clearly not to move it but he did & now he can't remember where (Just like I said he'd do!) so luckly I have a tube of E2000 which should *fingers crossed* do the trick.
I plan to mail out on monday. I'd do friday but Iam thinking I want to pick up a stand for the plate.

I put my plates in the mail today, hopefully they arrive in one piece. One of the packages has empty plastic drink bottles and bubble wrap in to try and protect the edges. I re-used some pillow wrap and flooring padding on the other. Post Office stamped it fragile, so I am hoping they get there in one piece.

SHERRY, SHERRY, SHERRY, post a picture because I want everyone to see what my sweet partner sent ME. Sherry I just love it and I cant even say enough to tell you how much I love it. I wish you were standing in front of me so I could give you a big HUG! And the Easel to sit it on. And the sweetest letter. I just got home and the mail lady left me a note that she had left a big box in the big mailbox beside ours. Its our neighbor's box but they dont live in their house here, so they dont care if we use it to have boxes and big stuff in. An our maillady is the best.
So Sherry please post, post,post. OMGoodness. I justlove it. And you put my name on it, and all the other cute things you did. You are so talented. Madeline, It is just a beautifully covered gift box that I received on one of my anniversaries, from a good freind. But I'm sure that you could cover a lunchbox would be really cute.

I have my plates done, but what's the best way to ship them so they don't break? The last couple of boxes I have received through the post office has been pretty beat up.

Hi Marlee, I received my plate, Thank you so much. I just love it. And thanks for the receipe to, it went right in my cookbook. And I will be sending yours hopfully by tommorrow. Sorry for the lateness. Been a crazy July.
