Well, current and potential Yo Yo Mammas, Round #8 Yo Yo Swap will be postponed to start date of August 15 and mail out date of September 15. This delay is due to such a busy, busy time of year for some swappers..and, we don't want to overwhelm any Farmgirl swapper.
(refer to round #7 to catch up on what's happening.)
I will keep the swappers that we have for Round #8 on this list. (Please let me know if you change your mind.) It will also give an opportunity for additional sign-ups! Otherwise, same instructions will apply. I'll put this on my calendar to remind everyone with another post closer to start date. Apologies if this inconveniences anyone...we'll say this is for the greater good of the sisterhool! ( Hey, I'm a poet!)

We have received beautiful Patriotic yo-yo s through Round #7! Aren't we having a great time making them!!! Well, yo yo mammas it's my turn to host Round #8. So, as our dear Penny Wise said "be gentle with me."
Margo's directions were so clear for Round #7 that I will not fix what isn't broken. So, here goes: "We've been making a total of 6 yo yo's for each swap partner and have been doing 2/2/2 of different "themes". They don't take long to make but-start NOW!!!" (so you don't feel rushed at the end--take good care of yourself and have fun!)
We are going on Summer Vacation for this next swap. Whether you travel or stay in your own back yard is up to you. We will do 2 yo yo's reflecting summer vacation, 2 of summer flowers and 2 of summer potluck (potluck could be foodie, reunion, anything summery).
Sign up begins today and ends May 22 or when we have our cut off of 10 swappers. (Whichever comes sooner) Mail out by June 22. Please email me with your real name/screen name and mailing address and email. Tell me whether or not you want buttons put on the yo yo's you will receive. New swappers are soooooooooooo welcome!!!
Let's continue to make either round or heart shaped yo yo's ---maker's choice. Pegsmiles/ladyinred has a great heart shaped yo yo tutorial on her blogsite-go the Thursday, Aug 11 post http://ladyinredsite.blogspot.com/
The template size for these yo yo's are 4" to start, with a smaller finished size.
After sign ups close, I will email the list of addresses and when you mail out your yo yo's please attach them to a card or card stock. Tuckins are purely optional; but fun if you do them. Some do..some don't.
This is an easy project to carry along to waiting rooms or on car trips, etc. (as long as you are the passenger  ) Just have FUN!!

Yes, Yo Yo Mammas! We will still plan on Round #8 Summer Vacation Yo Yo Swap. Sign up ends August 15 and final mail out date is Sept. 15. Sign up cut-off will be 10 swappers. (We have one new swapper added.)
Please let me know if you would like to have your name removed from this swap or added to...before Aug. 15.
