I hadn't seen one of these in a while, so I thought it would be fun to do.

Since it's already April, we'll have a quicky sign-up and ship out.

Sign ups start today, and will run until Sunday, April 8 (Easter). Partners posted April 9, and ship out will be no later than April 15.

For those who are new, a mug mat is like a coaster, but bigger to accommodate a mug. Most run @6" x 9". Your mug mat can be sewn/quilted, knitted, crocheted, embroidered - whatever you like to do that's suitable for a coffee mug to park its carcass on.

Think spring - colors, flowers, etc. Extras to be added as your heart desires and your budget determines (so if you are short on cash and can't throw in everything but the kitchen sink, don't feel bad!).

Remember - ship out date is April 15th! We all have really crazy, busy lives, so please don't sign up if you can't follow through. Also, we all know that sometimes God has other plans, so if something comes up after you sign up, please let me know.

Thanks, and can't wait!

Partners:
Shelly (sassynrob) - Deborah (debtea2)
Joan (Jonesy) - Linda (quiltee)
Fran (Wauka Mountain Mama) - Beth (Beth Jones)
Portia (ptroupe) - Ann (soapmommy60543)

Joan -

I'm glad you liked the Mug Rug and Microwave Baked Potato Bag. I've sold a lot of them both. I hope the Mug Rug was Spring-y enough. LOL!

And I love the Mug Rug from you. I it on Sunday when I got my mail after returning from my weekend Altrusa Conference in Waco, Texas. I love the design and the personalization. Great job!

Beth.
I got the mug mat you sent, yesterday. Its beautiful!
I love the little note pad & I actually needed a coupon binder! Its so cute! (Currently my coupons are in an old whitman's chocolate box for non-too-easy shopping.)

I'll post a pic for all to see tomorrow. Iam about to leave out to work a double shift right now though. :(

I gave up on the orignal mug mat I was making for you. The fuseable web I was using wasn't sticking right. I think its old or something...Iam almost done with the new design. I just have to finish the binding & pack it up. So, it should be in the mail by wed. :)
Iam almost done with yours

Ann, I am so glad you liked your gifts. I received mine today. I love the mug rug! I love bright colors and it is sooo colorful. My mother-in-law is visiting and wants to take it home with her, but I said NO WAY!!! Thank you, also, for the wonderful cocoa mixes and teas. I love both and will be trying them soon. It is still cool enough here to drink hot beverages. Thanks again for everything!

Hugs,
Ann

Portia, your package arrived yesterday. Thank you so much for all the goodies! The tea smells LOVELY, the mug matched the gold faux tile I painted on my kitchen back splash EXACTLY, and best of all the mug mat is SO ADORABLE! I love the colors you chose! My kids and I also oooh'd and aaaaah'd over the beautiful envelope you made for the little note - we all agreed that the stickers you used for my name looked like someone had done a custom press on pennies - really cool!

Anyway, thanks again!

Beth, Iam so sorry! I still haven't pieced mine together yet. I got held up durning spring break & I've been busy all this last week. I actually didn't even realize how late in the month it is! :(

Iam about to get started on the sewing so I should have it out in a couple of days.

Have fun!

By the way, the size guideline is only a guideline. I'm too much of a freethinker to impose such a harsh restraint on your creativity. It was only suggested because when I see patterns for them online, they are almost ALWAYS 6" x 9". You can make yours smaller or bigger, or round, or hexagon, or whatever your heart desires!
